⭐Employee Spotlight: Osie Rambus ⭐

Born in Chicago, Osie moved to West Point, MS at the age of seven, where her family’s roots began. She started her journey at West Point Community Living Center as a cook and, through years of hard work and dedication, advanced to Dietary Manager. She continues to lead with care and commitment. Looking back, she shared, “It’s been a long, GOOD journey,” reflecting on nearly 48 years of service. She is especially proud of her dependable team, many of whom have worked alongside her for more than 20 years. Family has always been her greatest motivation, and over the years she has raised five beautiful children and introduced her seven grandchildren to her staff and residents. When she is away from work, Osie enjoys spending time with her family, attending church, and shopping.

What she treasures most about working at West Point is the opportunity to connect with residents and their families. She loves meeting new people from all backgrounds and values the chance to learn something new from each person she encounters.

Osie’s dedication, compassion, and nearly five decades of service have made a lasting impact on West Point, and we are proud to recognize her outstanding journey.

Great team to work with.

⭐Employee Spotlight: Bridget Lopez⭐

We are proud to recognize Bridget Lopez, Longwood Community Living Center's Life Connections Coordinator, for her outstanding dedication and compassion toward our residents. Bridget consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of those in our skilled nursing facility. Her ability to build meaningful, trusting relationships with residents truly sets her apart and reflects the heart of our mission.

Recently, a resident experiencing dementia was undergoing medication changes and became extremely agitated and distressed. Knowing the strong bond Bridget had formed with this resident, our Director of Nursing reached out to her after hours for assistance. Without hesitation, Bridget left her home—where she had been preparing dinner for her family—and came to the facility. Through her calm presence, patience, and genuine love, Bridget was able to comfort and soothe the resident. She remained by the resident’s side until they were peacefully asleep, ensuring they felt safe and supported before quietly returning home.

This selfless act is a true example of Bridget’s character and commitment. She doesn’t just do her job—she makes a difference in the lives of our residents and their families every single day.

Because of individuals like Bridget, Longwood is more than a place of care—it is a place of compassion, dignity, and heart.

Thank you, Bridget, for your extraordinary dedication and for the difference you make every day!
