Aubre’s Thursday class has shifted from 10am start to 9:30am.

I know a lot of us are thinking of Catherine Crews these days. She left this world May 18. Catherine was a beautiful human and (among the many other roles she would take on in her lifetime) she was an inspiring yoga teacher who founded Shanti Yoga Studio in 2010. She was my yoga teacher, my mentor in the yoga world, and my friend. When she and Billy moved to Oxford in 2012, she turned the yoga studio over to me. We moved locations in 2013, and changed our name to The Yoga CoOp in 2018, but the spirit of Catherine’s yoga is still very much in this studio. I am opening the studio this Sunday, 3-5pm, for us to remember Catherine, together, in this space. This is not a yoga class. This is a come-and-go as you’re able, bring-your-yoga mat session of sitting together (on the blankets she chose for us!), perhaps talking, ….perhaps moving together, …and definitely breathing together. Thinking of Catherine.
