It’s that time of year again where Mississippi Sports Medicine opens our doors on Saturday mornings to make sure student-athletes have access to expert orthopedic care when they need it.

Get to know Bryan C. Fagan, MD! 👋

Dr. Fagan is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and the treatment of a wide range of orthopedic injuries and conditions. His goal is simple: helping patients feel better, move better and get back to doing the things they love.

In addition to seeing patients at our Tupelo clinic, Dr. Fagan also sees patients at our Amory clinic, making specialized orthopedic care more convenient for patients in Amory, Monroe County and the surrounding communities.

We’re excited to welcome Dana Ebb, DO, to the Mississippi Sports Medicine team in Tupelo! 👏

Dr. Ebb is a fellowship-trained sports medicine physician with a passion for helping patients recover from injuries, improve function, and stay active doing the things they love. Her clinical interests include sports-related injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, injury prevention, sports physicals, and ultrasound-guided evaluation and treatment.

After completing her family medicine residency right here in Tupelo at North Mississippi Medical Center, Dr. Ebb went on to complete a Sports Medicine Fellowship through the University of Alabama Sports Medicine Fellowship Program. She also brings extensive experience caring for athletes on the sidelines and working alongside athletic trainers and other members of the sports medicine team.

We’re so glad to have Dr. Ebb back in Tupelo and joining the Mississippi Sports Medicine family. She will begin seeing patients at our Tupelo clinic on August 17!

Dr. Eric Lewis recently performed the first Touch CMC arthroplasty for thumb basal joint arthritis in Mississippi, marking an exciting milestone in bringing new treatment options to patients across our state.

How do you know if it’s just soreness… or if something could actually be torn?

After an injury, it can be difficult to tell the difference. While soreness often improves with time, certain symptoms may be a sign of a ligament, tendon, or muscle tear that shouldn’t be ignored.
