This week, Relias Healthcare was proud to have Dr. Joe Johnsey, Luke West, Blake Jeter, and Juli Smith on Capitol Hill for EDPMA's Lobby Day in Washington, D.C.

Alongside emergency medicine leaders from across the country, they met with lawmakers to discuss the challenges facing emergency departments and advocate for policies that protect access to high-quality care for the patients and communities we serve.

We're grateful for opportunities like this to share the perspectives of frontline healthcare providers and help shape the future of emergency medicine.

Today, we're giving a well-deserved sendoff to our Chief Development Officer, Fenly Davis, as she steps into an exciting new chapter!

Over the past 5 years, Fenly has been nothing short of extraordinary. She joined Relias Healthcare as a team of one and built something that helped propel this organization to triple its size. Her work is woven into every milestone we've reached along the way.

Exciting news for Forrest Health!

Our Emergency Department is one of the two busiest in the state, which is a reflection of the trust our community places in us every single day. To continue serving our community at the highest level, an expansion is now underway, including 12 additional rooms to meet the growing demand for emergency care.

Beyond the 12 new rooms, there will also be improvements to enhance patient flow and the overall experience from the moment you walk in. You can expect a renovated ambulatory entrance, open lobby, streamlined registration, and a reimagined Fast Track and Treatment Lounge area with private cubicles. Enhanced security measures will also be in place to ensure a safer environment for patients, families, and staff.

This is an important step to support both patients and staff in an effort to continue strengthening emergency care across South Mississippi.
