Life can pull us in different directions, especially in the summer season. This week, notice where life is asking you to find your balance. Can you stay rooted in who you are while remaining open to what is possible?

Warrior II asks us to hold opposing forces simultaneously — for example, strength and softness, effort and ease, or even focus and surrender.

As your front knee bends and your arms reach in opposite directions, the invitation isn't to strain harder; instead, it's to find equanimity. A steady mind. A grounded presence. The ability to remain centered even when life pulls you in different directions.

Off the mat, equanimity looks like responding instead of reacting. It can look like staying connected to yourself amid uncertainty, challenge, and change.
