🎶 A Joyful Afternoon with the Latter Rain Trio! 🎶

There is something truly special about filling the halls with music, laughter, and praise! Today, our residents were blessed by another wonderful performance from the Latter Rain Trio, and as always, they did not disappoint.

From familiar hymns to uplifting gospel favorites, the room was filled with smiling faces, clapping hands, and hearts full of joy. Music has a beautiful way of bringing people together, stirring precious memories, and lifting our spirits—and today was a perfect reminder of that.

We are so grateful for the love, talent, and encouragement the Latter Rain Trio shares with our residents each month. Their visits have become something everyone looks forward to, and we are already counting down until next time!

🎈 Balloon Badminton Fun! 🏸

Who says exercise can’t be full of laughter? 😄

This afternoon our residents enjoyed a lively game of Balloon Badminton, where teamwork, friendly competition, and lots of smiles filled the room! Using oversized rackets and a lightweight balloon, everyone had the opportunity to participate, improve hand-eye coordination, stretch their muscles, and most importantly…have FUN!

At North River Village, we believe staying active doesn’t have to be complicated—it just has to bring joy. Watching our residents cheer one another on and celebrate every successful volley reminded us that some of life’s sweetest moments are the simplest ones. ❤️

This afternoon, our North River Village residents settled into our theater with popcorn, cookies, chips, and their favorite drinks for a special Movie Matinee featuring The Bucket List. 🍿🥤🍪

There’s something special about gathering together to enjoy a great movie. Between the laughter, heartfelt moments, and conversations afterward, it was the perfect way to relax and spend time with friends.

At North River Village, we’re learning that it’s often the simple moments—sharing snacks, watching a meaningful film, and enjoying each other’s company—that create the sweetest memories.

🥁❤️ Cardio Drumming with NRV! ❤️🥁

Who says exercise can’t be fun? Today our North River Village residents picked up their drumsticks, turned up the music, and got their hearts pumping during Cardio Drumming! 🎶💪

From smiles and laughter to keeping the beat together, everyone had a wonderful time improving coordination, getting in some movement, and enjoying great fellowship along the way. It’s amazing how a little music and rhythm can bring so much joy!

Way to go, NRV! We can’t wait to drum our way into our next workout! 🎵🥁❤️

🌸 A Beautiful Morning at North River Village! 🌸

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful morning filled with faith, creativity, and lots of laughter! We began with an encouraging devotion reminding us that, just like flowers in God’s garden, each of us has a unique purpose and continues to bloom in every season of life.

Residents reflected on ways they can “bloom today” through kindness, patience, gratitude, and love while creating beautiful flower keepsakes to take home.

We wrapped up the morning with a lively balloon drumming challenge that had everyone smiling, cheering one another on, and enjoying some friendly competition. It was a wonderful reminder that joy can be found in the simplest moments.

At North River Village, every day is another opportunity to grow, connect, and bloom together. 💐❤️

There’s something special about a fresh manicure! Today our residents enjoyed a little pampering, beautiful nail colors, and plenty of smiles during Manicure Monday.

Sometimes the smallest acts of self-care make the biggest difference. A fresh coat of polish, good conversation, and time spent together reminded us that everyone deserves to feel beautiful, cared for, and celebrated.

Seeing the joy on their faces after choosing their favorite colors made our day just as much as it made theirs. ❤️

🎉🎂 Happy Birthday to Our July Birthday Stars! 🎂🎉

Today at North River Village, we took time to celebrate our wonderful residents with July birthdays! 💖

The afternoon was filled with colorful cupcakes, ice cream, laughter, and great conversation as friends gathered around the table to honor another year of life and the many memories that come with it. There were smiles all around as everyone enjoyed sweet treats and fellowship together.

Birthdays are more than just another year—they’re a celebration of a life well lived, cherished friendships, and the blessing of making new memories together. We are so grateful to celebrate each of our July birthday residents and hope this year brings them continued joy, good health, and countless reasons to smile.

🎈 Balloon Toss Challenge Fun! 🎈

Today our residents put their aim and teamwork to the test with a fun Balloon Toss Challenge! The goal was simple—but not as easy as it looked! Each resident took turns throwing a ball, trying to knock the balloons out of the holes. Every balloon that came out earned a point, and the resident with the most balloons removed was crowned the winner!

The room was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and lots of cheering as everyone encouraged one another. Activities like these help improve hand-eye coordination, focus, and upper-body movement while creating joyful moments and lasting memories.
