n minor ones. Even the most stubborn of us will seek attention for a nagging cough or cold that won’t let up. However, when it comes to a different kind of pain, we put off getting help. We feel that we should be able to manage life ourselves. Here’s a secret…we all need help sometimes. I’ve been there and undoubtedly will be again. Whether it’s a toothache or a divorce, it’s all pain and it’s not necessary (or advisable) to handle it alone. One of the nice things about talk therapy is that it’s a small investment to take the first step… just take that one step. What do you have to lose?
