Does hair restoration actually work?

🔬 What’s really being removed during an EBOO Level II treatment?

After years of clinical observation and more than 800 EBOO procedures performed at Verve Holistic Health, we wanted to take a closer look at what may be present in the waste fluid generated during treatment.

Using advanced analysis from Doctor's Data, we tested fluid collected after an EBOO Level II procedure—without any chelation provocation. That means the patient did not receive IV EDTA, DMPS, or other chelating agents designed to mobilize toxic metals prior to treatment.

The laboratory detected measurable levels of several environmental elements and metals, including tin, cesium, barium, and others.

And this is only the beginning.

Our next phase of testing will evaluate EBOO waste fluid following provocation, where patients receive IV EDTA prior to treatment. By comparing non-provoked and provoked samples, we hope to better understand how these therapies may support the body's natural detoxification processes.

BAPS Charities Walk | Run 2026

We're thrilled to share that the BAPS Charities Walk | Run 2026 was a tremendous success, raising $25,000 for Special Olympics Southern California! Thank you to our patients who have generously supported our participation in this event. Every bit of it supports a big impact for our local community.

This is just the latest in years of meaningful community work by BAPS Charities, who have provided over 40,000 meals to healthcare workers during COVID, served more than 20,000 meals to those experiencing homelessness, hosted health fairs and educational events, supported local police and fire departments, and delivered over 40,000 pounds of food, water and blankets to wildfire victims.

Our Fallen Heroes

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

As a combat veteran, this day holds deep personal meaning for me. It is a powerful reminder not only of the courage of those who served, but also of the immense sacrifices carried by their families and loved ones in protecting the freedoms we are privileged to experience every day.

In honoring their legacy, I encourage all of us to remain mindful of the gift of each day. Taking moments for self-reflection, gratitude journaling, and intentional goal setting can help create meaningful pause within the busyness of life. Every day presents an opportunity to grow, heal, elevate ourselves, and continue forward on our wellness and spiritual journeys.

The Special Olympics empowers children and adults with intellectual disabilities to discover their strength, dignity, and joy through sport. It's a beautiful reflection of what freedom truly means — that every person, regardless of ability, deserves the chance to shine.

This Week's Wellness Spotlight: The Truth About "Cortisol Cocktails"

You may have seen them flooding your social media feed — colorful drinks promising to "balance your cortisol," "heal your adrenals," and "melt belly fat." A typical recipe blends coconut water, orange juice, sea salt, magnesium powder, and cream of tartar.

Here's what I want you to know:

The science behind the marketing is thin. Cortisol is regulated by your hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis — not by a beverage. While the ingredients themselves aren't harmful for most people (coconut water offers potassium, sea salt provides sodium, magnesium supports muscle and nerve function), no single drink will "fix" chronic stress or hormonal imbalance.

What actually moves the needle on cortisol regulation:
