Some of the loudest battles we fight never leave our minds.

“You’re not enough.”

“You’re failing.”

“Everyone else is doing it better.”

“God could never use someone like you.”

The enemy has always twisted the truth.
He did it in the garden, and he still does it today.

But here’s the question I’ve been asking myself lately:

Does this thought sound like the voice of my Shepherd?

If the answer is no… maybe it’s time to stop agreeing with it.

God’s voice brings truth, conviction, peace, hope, and grace.
The enemy brings shame, fear, condemnation, and lies.

Not every thought that enters your mind deserves your agreement.

📖 “We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” - 2 Corinthians 10:5

Which lie have you had to replace with God’s truth recently? 🤍

Maybe you didn’t check everything off your list this week.

Maybe the laundry is still waiting.

Maybe homeschool felt a little messy.

Maybe dinner was frozen pizza, and the dishes are still in the sink.

Friend… God never asked us to be perfect.

He calls us to be faithful.

The quiet, ordinary acts of obedience - the prayers whispered over your children, the meals prepared with love, the lessons taught around the kitchen table, the grace you extended when the day didn’t go as planned - those things matter.

“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” - Galatians 6:9

As you head into the weekend, let this be your reminder:

🤎 Faithfulness over perfection. Every single time.

Save this for the days you need the reminder, and share it with a mom who might need the encouragement today. ✨

Today was our very first day of homeschool for the 2026 school year. 🤎

Just last week this room was filled with moving boxes and everything we didn’t know where to put.

Today, it became our classroom.

My oldest started our K4 year, my middle started preschool, and together we began a brand new chapter for our family.

We kept it simple. We laughed, learned, explored God’s creation, and spent time in His Word.
It wasn’t perfect - and it didn’t need to be.

My prayer is to raise children who love the Lord, are curious about His creation, and never stop learning.

Here’s to our first full homeschool year.
May God guide every lesson, every challenge, and every sweet memory we make together. 🤍

P.S. A lot of what you’ll see us using this year (other than the Abeka curriculum) is from the Christian Homeschool Planner I created after struggling to find one that fit our family’s rhythm.

If you’re looking for a simple, faith-centered homeschool planner, it’s linked in my bio! 🫶

Anyone else weirdly attached to checklists? 😂

I love them… but I’ve also learned that if my checklist is unrealistic, it steals my peace instead of giving me direction.

So I stopped trying to fit into someone else’s routine and created one that actually works for this season of life.

Three little kids.
Homeschool.
Homemaking.
Real life.

It’s simple, flexible, and keeps our home moving without making me feel like I failed if I didn’t deep clean the baseboards. 🤍

I’ve been using it every day, and I decided to turn it into a completely free Home & Holiness Starter Kit for anyone who wants it.

It includes:
🤎 My daily family rhythm
🤎 Homemaking checklists
🤎 Scripture memory page
🤎 Prayer List
🤎 Printable planning pages
🤎 And a few of my favorite resources

Comment CHECKLIST and I’ll send it to you, or grab it from the link in my bio.

Sometimes I think we expect God to meet us only during our quiet time…

But Scripture reminds us that He is present in the ordinary too.

In the dishes.
In the diapers.
In the read-alouds.
In the homeschooling.
In the meals.
In the million interruptions.

Motherhood isn’t a distraction from your calling.

For many of us, it is the calling God has entrusted to us in this season.

So if today felt repetitive or unnoticed, remember this:

Nothing done in love for your family is wasted.

“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
- 1 Corinthians 10:31

☕ Save this for a hard day.
🤎 Share it with another mom who needs the reminder.

The world doesn’t always celebrate the quiet work of motherhood.

No one applauds the bedtime prayers.
The endless laundry.
The meals you make.
The homeschool lessons.
The middle-of-the-night cuddles.
The million little acts of love that make up your days.

But God sees every one of them.

Your home is more than a house.
Your motherhood is more than a season.
Your faithfulness is ministry. 🤍

If you’re preparing for homeschool this year, I’ve also been creating resources that I’m genuinely excited to use in our own home. ✨

My Christian Homeschool Planner is almost finished, and I’ve put together an Amazon homeschool favorites list with many of the things we’re using to create our classroom.

Every night is NOT this easy…

That isn’t realistic.

We’ve struggled with bedtime for a long time. Between military life, moving home, 40 days in the hospital, an emergency C-section, a new baby, a new house, and Will’s new job, our routine has been anything but consistent.

But now that life is settling down, we’ve become much more intentional about bedtime - and the difference has been amazing.

Our kids are happier, we’re more patient, and I actually have time to reset the house and decompress before bed.

A peaceful evening is built one
small, consistent habit at a time. 🤍

Welcome to Home & Holiness. 🤍

If you’ve been here for a while, you’ve probably noticed that things have been changing.

The truth is… I’ve changed.

I came back to Christ last September, and since then, God has completely transformed my heart, my priorities, my home, and the way I want to use this platform.

This isn’t me finding a new “niche.”

It’s simply my platform finally reflecting the woman I’m becoming because of Jesus.

And there really was no better way to begin this chapter than by telling you the whole story.

My first episode under Home & Holiness is officially LIVE:

🎙️ 40 Days & 40 Nights: How God Used My Hardest Season to Bring Me Home

I’m sharing my testimony - from leaving the military and moving across the country, to complete placenta previa, an emergency C-section, 40 days and 40 nights in the hospital, struggles within my marriage, and how God somehow used one of the hardest seasons of my life to strengthen my faith and bring everything together for His good.

I don’t have some perfectly mapped-out plan for what comes next.

I simply prayed, “Lord, use me.”

I felt called to prepare the platform.

So I did.

And now I’m trusting Him with where it goes from here. 🤍

** Romans 8:28

🎧 The episode is live now - listen through the link in my bio.

Welcome to Home & Holiness.
I’m so glad you’re here. 🤍

This week, I heard the same message twice - from two completely different places.

One of the biggest lies the enemy wants us to believe is that we’ll never have enough.

Not enough time.
Not enough money.
Not enough patience.
Not enough experience.
Not enough followers.
Not enough.

But when we become consumed with what we lack, we can miss what God has already entrusted to us.

Scripture doesn’t call us to live from a place of fear or scarcity. It calls us to be faithful stewards, to renew our minds, and to trust that our Heavenly Father knows exactly what we need.

Maybe today, instead of asking,
“What am I missing?”

Ask,
“Lord, what have You already placed in my hands, and how can I faithfully steward it?”

That question has been challenging me this week, and I hope it encourages you too. 🤍

📖 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” - Matthew 6:33

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable… think about these things.” - Philippians 4:8

What is one thing God has already placed in your hands that you’re grateful for today? 🤍
