A powerful step forward by the NFL 👏

The league has approved a new policy requiring every team to have a full-time mental health clinician on staff, an important signal to everyone that mental wellbeing is essential, not optional.

By prioritizing mental health support for players, especially those navigating injury or isolation, and expanding access to resources for families, the NFL is helping redefine what care in sports truly looks like.

Real strength, and real winning, includes asking for help, and building systems that make it accessible.

1 in 5 youth deaths in the United States is by su***de.

Let that sink in.

In rural states like Montana, the numbers are even more alarming — young people in our communities are more than twice as likely to die by su***de than their urban peers. Not because they’re struggling more. But because help is harder to find.

That’s why RBHI exists. We partner with rural schools to screen students in grades 3–12, identify those who may be struggling, and connect them to care — before a crisis.

Su***de is preventable. Early identification changes everything.

🙏 Playful Curiosity 💜
Curiosity is a regulatory force.
It’s very difficult to be dysregulated and curious at the same time.”
— Lisa Dion

Curiosity creates space for regulation. When children feel safe enough to explore rather than defend, connection and understanding can begin.

⚠️⚠️⚠️This post discusses su***de ⚠️⚠️⚠️

“When communities listen without assumptions, respond with empathy, and take mental health seriously, they create safer spaces for people to speak up and seek help.

Awareness saves lives because kindness opens doors, understanding reduces silence, and support reminds people that pain can change.
Conversations like these matter—they help break stigma, encourage compassion, and remind us all that no one should have to carry their suffering alone.”
