FREE Community Swim Event 🏊‍♀️

Our community is hurting after the tragic events from this weekend, and we want to offer a place for families, friends, and neighbors to come together, cool off, and share a positive experience.

Open Swim will be FREE on Monday, August 3 from 1:00–5:00 PM & 7:00–9:00 PM.

For everyone dealing with the heaviness of yesterday’s events….here is a little something from one of our neighboring businesses as we try to work through this difficult time.

Our hearts are heavy today.

After yesterday’s tragedy, our community is hurting, and we know there really aren’t words that can make sense of something like this.

Today, we just want to offer something small.

Mini golf will be free for everyone today. No strings attached. Come spend some time with your kids, your family, your friends, or someone you love. Get outside, be together, and give your mind a break for a little while.

Yesterday was a painful reminder of how precious life and the people we love really are.

Today, we hope our little corner of the community can simply be a place to be together. ❤️

If you're heading to Kids Art in the Park or Rotary's Ice Cream Funday, be sure to stop by the Children's Museum of the Magic Valley booth at City Park from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM!

Kids can enjoy hands-on, play-based activities including:
🧱 Building with our giant Big Blue Blocks
🔵 Creating amazing designs on our marble runs
🎨 Painting with our magical water canvas

Our mobile exhibits are FREE to enjoy (donations are always appreciated), and no registration is required to visit our booth.

☀️ School may be out for summer, but meals are still on the menu! 🍎🥪🥛

The Twin Falls Summer Food Program is back June 8 – August 7, providing free meals for kids at locations across Twin Falls. Stop by Frontier Park, Harry Barry Park, or the Twin Falls Club this summer for lunch or snacks! 💙💛

Share a favorite family recipe by July 24 and we’ll compile submissions into a Twin Falls Community Cookbook, available for checkout or purchase at the library, or free online.

You can submit up to two recipes per person. Pick up a form at the Reference Desk or find out how to submit your recipe online at tfpl.org/cookbook.
