We are seeking an experienced and passionate Hospice Clinical Director (RN) to provide leadership, support, and direction for our growing hospice team. This role is ideal for a dynamic healthcare leader who is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring clinical excellence.
As the Clinical Director, you will play a key role in shaping and supporting our hospice program while fostering a culture built on compassion, collaboration, and accountability.
🩺 Key Responsibilities
✅ Provide leadership and oversight for all hospice clinical operations.
✅ Support, mentor, and develop nursing and interdisciplinary team members.
✅ Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation, state regulations, and agency policies.
✅ Promote quality patient care through effective clinical oversight and performance improvement initiatives.
✅ Facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning discussions.
✅ Monitor clinical documentation, patient outcomes, and regulatory requirements.
✅ Collaborate with physicians, community partners, and referral sources to ensure continuity of care.
✅ Assist with staffing, scheduling, and operational planning.
✅ Foster a positive, supportive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.
🎓 Qualifications
✔️ Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
✔️ Minimum of three (3) years of clinical leadership or management experience.
✔️ Hospice experience preferred.
✔️ Knowledge of hospice regulations, Medicare guidelines, and clinical operations.
✔️ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
✔️ Ability to build strong relationships, motivate teams, and achieve results.
✔️ Previous experience as a Clinical Director, Director of Nursing, Patient Care Manager, or other healthcare leadership role preferred.
✔️ Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
✔️ Experience with quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and survey readiness.
