September Mobile Mammogram Dates at FHS Clinics

St. Luke’s Mobile Mammography Unit will be visiting our Family Health Services clinics throughout September. Regular screening hours are 9 AM–3 PM, unless otherwise indicated.

Our staff proudly represented Family Health Services at the Lincoln County Parade on July 23 and the Gooding County Parade on August 20. We loved connecting with our communities and celebrating alongside our neighbors!

Free crisis counselors are at Rock Creek Elementary (850 Federation Road) today until 8 p.m. No appointment. No paperwork hoops. No cost. Just walk in.
And please hear this part: right now, a lot of you are thinking “I should leave these resources for the people who really need them. What I saw wasn’t that bad. I wasn’t even there.”
That thinking is exactly why we’re posting this.
You don’t need to have been inside to be carrying this. If you were nearby. If you heard the sirens and your stomach dropped. If you’ve been glued to your phone since yesterday and can’t shake it. If you got the “are you safe?” text and your world stopped for a minute. If your kids have questions you don’t know how to answer — bring them. Counselors here today know how to talk with children.
There is no line you have to clear. There is no “bad enough.” There are counselors from all over the Magic Valley here right now, and there is truly enough support for every single person in this valley. You are not taking anyone’s spot. Coming in early IS the prevention — it’s so much easier to process this now than to carry it alone for months.
This is what community looks like. This is why we’re here.

Today, our hearts are with everyone affected by the tragic shooting in Twin Falls. We extend our deepest condolences to the victims, their families, and all those impacted by this heartbreaking event.

Family Health Services is proud to partner with Blaine County, the Blaine County Sheriff's Office and St. Luke's Wood River Foundation in launching the Blaine County Crisis Co-Response Team.

This innovative program brings together law enforcement and behavioral health professionals to provide compassionate, timely support for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use crises. Through this partnership, FHS helps connect community members to ongoing behavioral health care, primary care services, and local resources that support long-term wellness and recovery.

A gentle reminder that routine mammograms can spot changes in breast tissue up to two years before you’d ever feel them. Early detection saves lives, and we’re grateful to bring this service close to home.
