Hamilton Health Services may have had some new faces join us in the last year but today we are celebrating the commitment of our Business Office Manager, who has been with Hamilton for 7+ years.

✨Meet Our Team Member! ✨
Shayla W.
Role: Senior Business Office Manager
🙌 Joined our team: December 2019

Experience: Shayla has been a part of the Hamilton Health Services team, quite literally the entirety of Northshore owning Hamilton Health Services in Two Rivers. Prior to being our Sr. Business Office Manager, Shayla was a CNA. She also had a role in caregiving in Northland Lodge, our connected ALF. Being a Senior Business Office Manager means we get to share Shayla with other buildings throughout the community to help with Business Office trainings, supporting other BOMs, and the many other hats Shayla wears.

❤️ What they like most about their job: The relationships I’ve built with our residents, their families, and my coworkers. Over time, I’ve gotten to know our residents on a personal level, and I truly enjoy being someone they and their families can count on when they have questions, concerns, or need help.

I also enjoy keeping things organized, solving problems, and knowing that my work helps support our residents and staff. Most of all, I love feeling like I’m making a difference and being part of a community.

We are so grateful to have Shayla as one of our leaders here at Hamilton!

Hamilton Health Services was first named "The Hamilton Home" back when it was built in the 70's. Since the 70's, there has been many changes in and outside of our building to reach the needs of our community. The one thing that hasn't changed? Our commitment to providing the "at home feeling" to each person who admits here! Two Rivers is a community built off of love, friendship, and hard work! Many of our residents are a part of creating what makes Two Rivers great!
On Friday July 21st we celebrated our residents on National Senior Citizens Day. We had a fair/carnival themed party which was all hands on deck. Everyone from each department was there to ensure the celebration went off with success. What a fun afternoon we had celebrating some of Two Rivers finest citizens!

✨Meet Our Team Member!
Meet Emily our new Director of Nursing! She joined our team in July of 2025!

🎓 Education/Experience: Obtained RN degree at Rasmussen University. Prior to working at Hamilton I worked in long-term care, med/surg, ICU,& Operating room. Prior to becoming a Registered Nurse I worked for several years as a medical assistant working in Dermatology/plastic surgery. I have also worked as a CNA many years ago. 20+ years of healthcare!

❤️ What they like most about their job:
I love being apart of the "culture of care" that we have built at Hamilton Health Services. It’s more than managing a department—it’s leading a team, advocating for residents, solving problems, and creating a culture where people feel valued and cared for.

Some days are challenging, but the opportunity to make a difference every single day makes it all worth it.

Nothing beats a summer parade! ☀️🎉 Our residents had a great time watching the Snow Fest Parade and enjoying the morning together. Thank you to all of the parade member who took the extra time to visit with us!

Hamilton Health Services has had some new faces join us in the last year. We are wanting to introduce them to the Two Rivers and Manitowoc Communities.

Katie H.
Role: Executive Director
✨ Joined our team: March 2026 as Executive Director. Prior Social Work Director of facility since 2024.

🎓 Education/Experience: Bachelors of Psychology and Human Development from UW- Green Bay. Masters of Social Work from Grand Canyon University

❤️ What they like most about their job: I love having that immediate connection with those who have paved the way of our community for generations before me. I have had the privilege of caring for past nurses, teachers, military personal, and laborers who have built many of the structures in our community. We are able to learn life lessons from each any every resident that walks through this door.

We have some exciting news to share...

We were awarded the AHCA Bronze Quality Award for 2026! We are so proud of all the hard work from all of our staff here, and can't wait to continue to deliver quality care to our community!

Meet Shadow! He was our visitor from the Lakeshore Humane Society. He was such a good boy with our residents and staff. Everyone welcomed him with love and scritches. We were so happy to get a visit from the Humane Society. He is currently available for adoption.
