🧊 Stay Warm & Safe
• Dress in layers and cover exposed skin
• Keep your home heated safely (never use grills or generators indoors)
• Check on elderly family members, neighbors, and those with medical conditions
🚗 Avoid Travel If Possible
• Roads may be icy and dangerous
• If you must drive, go slowly and keep emergency supplies in your car
• Let someone know where you’re going
💊 Medical & Medication Reminders
• Make sure you have at least 3–5 days of medications on hand
• Keep insulin, medical devices, and temperature-sensitive meds properly stored
• Charge phones, glucose meters, and medical equipment
🏠 Power Outage Preparedness
• Keep flashlights, batteries, and blankets ready
• If you use oxygen, CPAP, or medical devices, have a backup plan
• Never use generators, grills, or gas stoves indoors due to carbon monoxide risk
⚠️ Seek Medical Care Immediately If You Have:
• Chest pain, trouble breathing, or severe weakness
• Signs of hypothermia: confusion, extreme shivering, slurred speech
• Falls, injuries, or worsening chronic conditions
Stay safe, stay warm, and take care of each other! 🤍❄️
