3 examples of biblical PPE— Personal Protective Equipment
1. Start your day with PRAYERFUL awareness:
Decide, from your first waking breath, to be content, to invite peace, and to think and speak in life-giving ways.
Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in this using God's word.
2. PRACTICE gratitude
1 Thessalonians 5:8 tells us to rejoice despite circumstances, and Psalm 118:24 tells us to rejoice in the day the Lord made and BE GLAD IN IT.
Gratitude journaling has been one of my biggest challenges and yet the most encouraging activity!
3. ENCOURAGE one another
"... and build each other up..." 1 Thessalonians 5:11.
Serving others can be the most helpful thing you can pursue when you're having a "rough" day. Self-focus can often lead to deteriorating moods and thinking patterns.
