At Monarch Prep we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment for neurodiverse students. Our team is committed to empowering students to reach their full potential, both academically and personally, through individualized instruction and tailored support. We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate part-time Teacher to join our team in a temporary position for this summer that has the potential to evolve into long-term, if desired.

Job Description:
As a Teacher at Monarch Prep, you will work closely with students in one-on-one or small group settings. You will provide differentiated instruction, ensuring each student’s needs are met and fostering a positive, engaging learning experience. You will have unlimited support from our dedicated staff, including BCBAs and Registered Behavior Technicians and other educational professionals, to help create an individualized learning plan for each student.

🌎✈️ Vacation Mode Activated at Monarch Prep! ✈️🌎

Today we kicked off our summer fun with Tourist Day, and our students and staff were ready for adventure! From vacation shirts and sun hats to cameras and travel gear, everyone showed up dressed for destinations near and far.

At Monarch Prep, we love creating opportunities for our students to engage in themed activities that encourage creativity, social interaction, and plenty of fun. Tourist Day is just the first stop on our summer journey, and we can't wait to see where the rest of the season takes us!

Stay tuned as we continue our "Vacation Mode" summer theme with more exciting dress-up days, special activities, and memorable experiences throughout June.

✨ BIG NEWS, EAST TEXAS FAMILIES! ✨

Monarch Preparatory is excited to announce that we have officially been approved as a vendor for the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program for the 2025–2026 school year! 🎉

This means families awarded TEFA funds may soon be able to utilize those funds toward eligible Monarch services as the program officially launches. We are also actively working toward approval for Tyler Behavior Studies so families may eventually have options for both educational tuition and ABA-related services.

At Monarch Preparatory, we are passionate about creating individualized, supportive learning environments for students with unique needs, and we are incredibly thankful for opportunities that help increase educational access and flexibility for families across Texas.

📌 Important Reminder:
TEFA award amounts shown on parent dashboards are for the upcoming school year and will not be immediately available to spend. Funding availability is expected once the program officially opens in July 2026.

📌 Families should also note:
A student’s final award amount may change depending on the educational setting selected (private school vs. homeschool pathway), so completing those selections promptly is important.

We know many families have been eagerly awaiting updates, and we are excited to continue sharing information as more guidance becomes available!

Today was simply tea-riffic at Monarch Prep! ☕🌸

We loved getting to welcome our amazing parents, guardians, and caregivers for our Afternoon Tea Party today. It was such a sweet opportunity to slow down, connect, share conversations, and celebrate the incredible community that surrounds our students each day.

A huge thank you to all of our families who joined us and to our wonderful staff who fully embraced the fun by dressing for the occasion! We are so thankful for a team that pours so much heart into creating meaningful experiences for our students and families. 💛👑

Please join us in congratulating Hannah on stepping into her new role as Red Team Coordinator, and Melyssa as she takes on the Team Coordinator role with our newly evolving Pink Team.

Both of these incredible team members have consistently demonstrated dedication, compassion, and a strong commitment to our students and staff. We are so proud to see them grow into these mentorship roles, where they will continue supporting and guiding our RBTs while helping strengthen the culture that makes Monarch Prep so special.

We are feeling so loved this Monday 💛

A huge thank you to The Cozy Crumb • Sourdough Bakery and Simply Grace Jelly for surprising our team with the most delicious treats! The sourdough chocolate chip muffins, blueberry muffins, fresh sourdough bread, and homemade jelly were absolutely incredible and let’s just say… they didn’t last long at all 😄

Your kindness and generosity mean so much to our staff, and we are so grateful to be surrounded by such thoughtful local businesses.
