This August, we wanted to give back to our amazing team members by providing school supplies for their children!

Thanks to the generosity of our Meadow Lake residents, we were able to fill 70 bags of school supplies for 70 children! ❤️

A huge thank you to our residents who donated and everyone who helped make this giveaway possible. We love seeing our Meadow Lake community come together! 💙

🍎🌻 Farmers Market Day! 🌽🍅
Our residents enjoyed their very own Farmers Market experience filled with fresh produce, friendly faces, and plenty of smiles. A special thank you to our local farmers market friends who helped make the day extra special! 💛

Today we made our second visit to Starbrite Equestrian Therapeutic Center. We not only participated in physical grooming, but our residents in Memory Care enjoyed getting a chance to walk the horses!

Our annual Carnival was filled with fun, laughter, and unforgettable moments! Residents, families, and team members enjoyed ETX Lemonade, Funnel Cake Playground, carnival games, a cake walk with treats from The Rolling Pin Bakery, our dunking booth, and the hit of the day—the mechanical bull! We topped it all off with a delicious carnival buffet featuring turkey legs, burgers, nachos, churros, popcorn, and more!

This month, our Health Center residents brought the flavor and the fun to their very own Chili Cook-Off! 🌶️❤️ Residents enjoyed tasting a variety of delicious chilis, casting their votes for their favorites, and spending time laughing and visiting with one another. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with great food, friendly competition, and even better company. We love seeing our residents come together to create memories and celebrate community at Meadow Lake Senior Living!

Our Memory Care residents recently enjoyed a heartwarming visit to Starbrite Therapeutic Equine Center, participating in East Texas' first therapeutic equine program for individuals living with memory loss.

Spending time with specially trained therapy horses encouraged gentle movement, meaningful connection, and moments of joy in a peaceful outdoor setting. We're proud to partner with Starbrite to provide innovative, person-centered experiences that enrich the lives of our residents. 🐴❤️
