We are proud of the work of our Hearts LOSS Team in providing support to families impacted by su***de. LOSS is part of the Andrews Zero Su***de Program, an initiative with the aspirational goal of eliminating su***de in our area.

🖤 HEARTS LOSS Team Volunteer Training 🖤
Have you experienced su***de loss and felt the impact of compassionate support?

Now is an opportunity to walk alongside others who are facing that same kind of grief.

The HEARTS LOSS Team is looking for individuals who are willing to serve with empathy, understanding, and heart. Our volunteers help provide immediate support to those affected by su***de loss, reminding them they are not alone in one of the hardest moments of their lives.

✨ Training Details:
📍 Andrews Center
2323 W. Front St.
Tyler, TX 75702
📅 July 31st, 2026
⏰ 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

This training is open to individuals with lived experience of su***de loss, as well as mental health professionals who feel called to support others through postvention care.

Showing up isn't always about having the right words.

Sometimes it's simply being there—for your children, your family, your friends, and the people who count on you. The moments we share today can leave a lasting impact tomorrow.

This Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, let's make space for honest conversations. 💚

Strength isn't having all the answers. Sometimes it's asking the questions that matter—or having the courage to ask for help when life feels overwhelming.

A simple "How are you really doing?" can open the door to healing. And if you're struggling, asking for help is one of the strongest things you can do.

💚 This Mental Health Month, let's remind each other that no one has to face life's challenges alone. Often the first step and perhaps the universal key to a better life is better communication.

Listening is one of the simplest ways we can show someone they matter.

Whether it's a child, a friend, a spouse, or a coworker, taking the time to truly hear another person can strengthen relationships and build trust.

This Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, let's make space for listening. It will do your heart good and help you better understand the needs of those you care about. 💚

Some of life's most important conversations happen far from an office—on a porch, in a truck, at the kitchen table, or on the sidelines of a ball game.

Strong Communities Begin with Connection

Mental health isn't built by one organization alone. It takes neighbors, families, providers, educators, advocates, and community partners working together.

We're grateful for the many people and organizations who joined Andrews and the UT Tyler School of Medicine at last month's East Texas Behavioral Health Summit. Working together, these men and women help create hope, support, and opportunity throughout our region. 💚
