Today we kicked off Caregiver Week with Superhero Day, and what better way to start than by celebrating the real superheroes who walk our halls every day!

Our caregivers may not wear capes, but they possess all the qualities of true heroes: compassion, patience, strength, kindness, dedication, selflessness, and an unwavering commitment to serving others. They show up each day ready to make a difference in the lives of our residents, bringing comfort, encouragement, dignity, and love to those we are privileged to serve.

At Prestige Estates, we know that the heart of our community is our caregiving team. They are the smiling faces, helping hands, listening ears, and caring hearts that make Prestige feel like home.

A special thank you to Taiwana Goodwyn and Tacola Austin for putting together the fun Superhero Snack Sacks that our team enjoyed today as we began this week of celebration and appreciation! 💙❤️💛

Nothing says summer quite like a scenic bus ride and an ice-cold sweet tea on National Iced Tea Day! ☀️🧋 Our Prestige Estates residents enjoyed a fun afternoon outing to HTeaO, where they sipped their favorite flavors, shared plenty of smiles, and soaked up the beautiful East Texas sunshine. From great conversations to sweet treats and wonderful memories, it was the perfect way to celebrate the day together! 😎❤️

A special shout-out to sweet Bettye, who jumped right in and helped serve tea to her friends. Her kind heart and servant spirit made the day even more special!

🎶☕💪🏻Thankful Thursday at Prestige Estates! 💪🏻☕🎶

Our Assisted Living residents have had a wonderful week filled with fun, friendship, and staying active!

We know it’s the first Thursday of the month when one of our favorite entertainers, Scotty G comes to perform. 🎸🎤 What a fantastic afternoon of music, smiles, singing, and great memories. Our residents always look forward to his visits, and he never disappoints!

A special thank you to Suzanne and The Hospice of East Texas for sponsoring a delicious Iced Coffee Bar for our residents. ☕🥤 Suzanne may have missed her calling because she is truly a barista! 😄 The iced coffees were a huge hit and made for a sweet afternoon treat.

And because every day is a great day to invest in our health, Thursday is Weight Day! 💪🏻🙌🏼 Our residents gathered for another fun workout session, encouraging one another and proving that age is just a number.

✨ Strong today, stronger tomorrow! ✨

Today our residents enjoyed a sweet treat and a wellness check thanks to Taylor Mascorro and Linda with Enhabit Home Health.🩺😊

Residents had the opportunity to participate in a Blood Pressure Clinic while also celebrating National Donut Day with delicious donuts and great conversation. 🍩❤️

We are so thankful for community partners like Enhabit Home Health & Hospice who help us support the health, wellness, and happiness of our residents.

🌟💜 Life is meant to be lived, and our Memory Care residents have been doing just that! 💜🌟

What a fun-filled week we’ve had in Memory Care! From duck hunting adventures 🦆🔫 and parachute ball toss games 🎈⚾ to blowing bubbles in the sunshine 🫧☀️, our residents have been staying active, engaged, and smiling every step of the way!

Our creative side was shining bright as residents painted and decorated beautiful keepsake boxes 🎨📦 and put their baking skills to work making delicious chocolate pies 🥧🍫. These activities encourage creativity, social interaction, fine motor skills, cognitive stimulation, and a wonderful sense of accomplishment.

And the fun didn’t stop there! Residents also enjoyed fantastic live entertainment from Scotty G 🎶🎤, filling our community with music, singing, laughter, and plenty of toe-tapping fun. Music has a special way of bringing back cherished memories and creating joyful moments that connect us all. ❤️

At Prestige Estates Memory Care, we believe every day should be filled with purpose, engagement, and opportunities to create meaningful moments. Our residents had a wonderful time in craft class this week creating beautiful patriotic fabric tie wreaths! 🎀⭐🇺🇸 Each wreath was uniquely designed with festive red, white, and blue fabrics, making for a fun afternoon filled with creativity, conversation, and lots of smiles.

A special thank you to the amazing team from Waterton Rehabilitation for partnering with us and providing support during this activity. We are so grateful for their dedication to enriching the lives of our residents and helping create meaningful moments every day. ❤️
