We'd love to get to know you, provide the sharpest vision you could imagine, and help you choose the perfect eyewear for your lifestyle. Dr. West loves getting to know his patients, their eye health history, and takes time to address all of their vision needs. is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist. At West Vision, we excel in providing our patients with personalized care, and as a result , most of our patients are here due to “word of mouth” referrals from family and friends. We want West Vision to serve as your family’s eye care practice for life. We will work to earn that trust through excellent customer care, investment in new technology, continuing medical education for doctors and staff, a huge inventory of optical and contact lenses, and exclusive eyeglass frames.

For so many years, Regina was more than an employee—she was the face and heart of our office. She greeted everyone who walked through our doors with a smile, had the most infectious laugh, and truly never met a stranger. If you knew Regina, you loved Regina.

Regina was diagnosed with ALS in June of 2025, and over the past year, the disease had progressed quickly. While we knew she was facing a difficult battle with ALS, we never expected to be saying goodbye so soon.

Our office never felt quite the same after Regina had to leave us. We were already missing the sound of her voice, that unforgettable laugh, and the way she could brighten the entire office just by being there. Today, that absence feels even greater.

We are so grateful for all the years we were blessed to have Regina as part of our work family and for the countless lives she touched along the way. Some people simply leave a mark on a place and on the hearts of everyone around them—Regina was one of those people.

Please keep Regina’s family and all those who loved her in your prayers during the difficult days ahead.

We love you, Regina. You will be deeply missed and forever a part of our office family. 🤍

A funeral service for Regina Gayle (Johnston) Locke, 59, is scheduled for 3 p.m., Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville. She will be laid to rest at Concord Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Saturday, August 29, 2026, and family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
