Today we had a good ole afternoon karaoka sing along that turned into a dance session as well! Whether singing along with the words on the screen, standing and doing the YMCA, or sitting and doing your best chair dance - a great time was had by all!

Our LifeStories Residents recently enjoyed a good game of indoor golf! Golf is a lifelong, low-impact sport that allows seniors to remain active and engaged. Players and spectators enjoyed refreshing Strawberry Banana Smoothies after the game!

In Pennsylvania, most whitetail fawns are born during late May and early June. When adequate food is available, healthy mature does generally give birth to twins. Which was the case with one of the does living near Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone. These two were spotted in our back yard!

Our team at Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone truly has a "Heart of Gold" when it comes to caring for our residents! They produced a gold-level effort for their prompt handling of residents’ callbell requests during the second quarter of 2026. The team responded in person to each call in an average of 1 minute, 7 seconds to attain the Gold Level status.

Handcrafted with Style!

Our residents designed beautiful handmade clay jewelry today! Some chose a colorful patchwork design, while others experimented with stunning marbled patterns. They had the choice of creating either a pair of earrings or a pendant, and each piece is as unique as the artist who made it.

The jewelry is still drying, so we'll have to wait just a little longer to see the finished masterpieces—but the excitement is already building! Several residents declared they'll be dressing in their finest attire to show off their one-of-a-kind creations. We can't wait to see everyone sparkle with pride when it's time for the big reveal!
