5/18/26: We have learned of an increase in local chickenpox cases. There is no need for alarm, but it is a good time to talk with your child’s medical provider to be sure your child is up-to-date on his/her chickenpox (varicella) vaccines. Varicella vaccines are effective at preventing chickenpox illnesses.
