Greetings friends. Starting May 10th, Abhayagiri monks will speak in Ukiah every 2nd Wednesday of the month. Join them for a meditation, dharma talk, and a Q&A session from 7-8:30pm at the Sudhana Center on the corner of Hope and Church Streets. Hosted by and in partnership with Dharma Realm Buddhist University. All are welcome to attend!

Hi folks! Long time, no post. There is a movement happening right now to bring the monks from Abhayagiri Monstery back to Ukiah regularly for meditation events. If anyone would like to be involved in this process or kept in the loop about future events, please respond to this post.

Environmental Justice & Yoga
Featuring Raeeka Yassaie, Ash Williams & our very own Mary Paffard, hosted by Reggie Hubbard. Wednesday August 31st, 2022
12pm-2pm PDT Community Forum discussing yoga and environmental justice. FREE registration.
Presenters will share their experience and expertise on the topic, discussing the interrelationships of climate justice, land back movements, and anti-racism work, grassroots organizing, and environmental justice as a spiritual practice. They will also offer a vital reframe of the earth as part of our collective body and offer ideas for supporting front-line activists through the practice and teaching of yoga.

With heavy hearts, we will be officially closing the organization in June. We thank each of you for your part in contributing to our community for so long! We hope you can join us on May 15 for a final YoMo-hosted workshop with Mary at Rivino (and stay tuned for info on a party later in the summer to celebrate the life of YoMo!)
