What is Beyfortus?�Beyfortus (nirsevimab) is a single shot that gives your baby ready-made antibodies to fight off RSV. It's not a vaccine — it delivers protection right away, instead of waiting for your baby's immune system to build its own. 💪
Why should my baby get it?�✅ Cuts the risk of RSV hospitalization by about 80%�✅ Lowers the chance of a serious ICU stay by about 90%�✅ Just ONE shot = protection for the whole RSV season (about 5 months)�✅ Recommended for ALL babies under 8 months entering their first RSV season
When should my baby get it?�🗓️ Right before or during RSV season (usually October–March)�🏥 Newborns can get it in the hospital shortly after birth�💉 It can be given at the same time as your baby's routine vaccines
