GREEN BURIAL
We have noticed a growing interest in Green Burial in our area, so we want our community to know that we can accommodate most requests. Most area cemeteries will still require an outer burial container, which is most often a concrete box that goes around the casket. The green way to handle this is to just place the casket inside, shovel the earth onto the casket until it is all covered, and then place the concrete top on. This keeps the grave from caving in later. We offer several unfinished wood caskets and embalming is only required in certain cases. We also offer formaldehyde free embalming products.
