Union: Services for Mrs. Julia R. Rucker will be held 11 am, Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with burial in the Pinckney Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. William Savell will officiate.

Visitation will be held 9:30 am – 11 am, Thursday at Milling Funeral Home of Union.

Mrs. Rucker, age 67, of Union passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026.

Julia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She enjoyed her days antiquing with her husband, Larry and traveling wherever the road would take them. She also loved hunting for bargains while shopping with her daughters. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Larry Rucker; daughters, Jessica Higginbotham (Matt) and Amanda Mayon (Mike); grandchildren, Clayton Rucker (Shelby), Braden Higginbotham (Savannah), Olivia Smith (Dawson), Brock Mayon, and Luke Mayon; sisters, Cheryl Graham and Celeste Loper and brother, Edward Burris, as well as her beloved dog, Dixie.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” and Patricia Burris and in-laws, Bill Rucker and Etoile Rucker.

Services for Mr. Ralph B. Germany, Sr. will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 29, 2026, at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union.
Bro. Rusty Walton will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held 10:00- 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 29, 2026, prior to chapel services.

Mr. Ralph Germany, Sr.,88, passed away on May 27, 2026.

Ralph Bernard Germany was born to Sim Alton “Bill” Germany and Ruby Winnoah “Nodie” Germany on December 6, 1937. He grew up in Union, Mississippi, attending Union public schools, where he played various sports. He also studied at East Central Community College.

He worked many years at Lee Chevrolet (which became Hawthorn Chevrolet) in Union, Mississippi. From there, he went to work at Nelson Hall Chevrolet in Meridian, Mississippi. He achieved many awards for his success in truck and car sales. At Nelson Hall Chevrolet he ultimately became a sales manager.

Earlier in his life he was a horseman. He also enjoyed playing golf, particularly in retirement.

Ralph is survived by three children: Anita Webster, Ralph Germany (wife Ruth Ellen) and Albert “Ab” Germany (wife Andrea). He is also survived by two stepchildren: Rick Johnson (wife Cheryl) and Mitzi Yarbrough (husband Neil). Additional survivors include his sister Helen Addy, his sister Marthalene Harris (husband Bobby), multiple grandchildren, and one great-grandson. He is predeceased by his parents, his wife Melba Germany, his brother Gary Germany, and his sister Afton Taylor.

UNION: Services for Mrs. Earline May Harrison will be held 11 am, Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Beulah Baptist Church (12954 Hickory Little Rock Rd, Decatur, Ms 39327) with burial in the church cemetery. Bro. Gary Rivers will officiate.

Visitation will be held 9:30 am - 11 am, Thursday at Beulah Baptist Church.

Mrs. Harrison, age 87, of Decatur died Sunday, May 24, 2026.

Survivors:

Husband of 70 years: Charlie Harrison

Son: Ricky Harrison (Janean)

Daughter: Paula Thaggard (Craig)

2 Grandchildren: Jessi Thaggard and Eli Harrison (Abby)

1 Brother: Willard May

She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Harrison is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Fannie May; four sisters, Faye Jenkins, Maxinee Alexander, Carol Lee, Gloria Feinstein and two grandchildren, Crystal and C.J. Harrison.

Pallbearers: Eli Harrison, Michael Alexander, Byron Alexander, Marty Alexander, Randall Lee, James May and Wayne May

Honorary Pallbearers: Ronnie Estes, Randy Estes, Wayne Lanier, Wayne Comans, Gary Pinson, Ricky Chaney, Jr. Laird and Larry Blackburn

The family would like to express thanks to Accent Care Home Health & Hospice, Beulah Baptist Church, especially the WMU Ladies, the community and many friends.

Services for Mr. Jeffery Paul Skinner will be held 10:30 am, Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Bro. Rusty Walton, Bro. Lin Chesney, Bro. Bob Null, and Bro. Charles Warren will officiate.

Graveside service will be held 12 noon, Thursday, at the MS Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. prior to church service.

Mr. Jeffery Paul Skinner, age 58, of Little Rock passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

Survivors:

3 Daughters: Mary Lou Cleveland (Trey), Emily Pearson, and Ashley Ellingburg (Cody)

4 Step-Children: Kayla Stevens (Tyler), Brock Walton, Brice Walton and Lyla White

Mr. Jeffery Skinner was a proud PopPop to his eight grandchildren: Bentley Kyle Cleveland, Charlie Pearson, Kaylynn Pearson, Donald Paul Pearson, Jessep Pearson, Wrenlee Kate Ellingburg, Jacob Harper, and Jackson Stevens.

Brynlee Grace Sullivan was born on May 08, 2026. She left this world to be with Jesus on May 14, 2026. Jonathan and Chloe are so proud to have been able to have her for six days here on earth.

We can all rest in knowing this is not goodbye forever, but just for a short while. She is in Heaven and because Jonathan and Chloe have been saved through faith in Jesus, they will see her again. She is made whole. We can't imagine the joy she must have, being in the presence of her Creator.

Brynlee has victory in Jesus, and you can too. If you don't know Jesus as your personal Savior, come to him today. He died and rose again for you and loves you more than you can imagine.

Graveside services were held at Nance Hill Cemetery, where Bro. Mark Vincent officiated.
