Americare believes in making ‘Magic Moments’ for our residents. Finding a way to connect a moment in their past to their present, being able to take them and do something with them from their past, today! Yesterday we did just that-we took three buses and many residents, family members, and team members and went to the Cardinals game. The residents cheered, booed, and ultimately celebrated a win! But to see one resident joyfully ‘jump’ when they won, yell in celebration with tears in his eyes watching his team win….that was a Magic Moment! His family was able to be at the moment as well. We did it!!!

Birthday gifts can be a challenge to choose for residents because they either have what they want or they want so little. Well this week we had Janet celebrate her birthday and she is a challenge because she doesn’t want anything…. But she loves her veggies!! So she loved her gift, which included some cans of green beans! 😂🤣 We aim to please!
