Next weekend we’ll be heading back to the Common Ground Country Fair! 🌿

This is one of our favorite events of the year, and we’ve been busy getting everything ready in the soap kitchen. We can’t wait to spend the weekend surrounded by so many Maine farmers, makers, growers, cooks, and small businesses.

If you’re heading to the fair, come find us, say hello, and stock up on your favorite goat’s milk soaps and lotions. We’ll be there all weekend, and we’d love to see you!

All of our soaps start with one ingredient: goat’s milk.

We’ve been goat farmers for many years and we know how much goats milk can do for the body! In fact, we started making goats milk soap because we struggled to find a soap that was gentle on sensitive skin and made with quality, natural ingredients. Do you know the numerous benefits of goat’s milk in your skincare?

1. Goat’s milk is a natural exfoliant because it contains lactic acid. As a result, it will gently remove dead skin cells, and leave your skin feeling soft and smooth.

2. Goat’s milk contains tons of antioxidants which protect your skin from free radicals that cause damage to your skin.

3. Goat’s milk naturally contains glycerin, a humectant that draws moisture from the air. The fatty acids in goat’s milk also help your skin stay hydrated!

4. Goat’s milk is very gentle and soothing, and can help prevent or reduce inflammation.

🎉 50 years of Belfast Co-op! 🎉

This weekend, we’re celebrating a very special milestone with the Belfast Community Co-op: 50 years of food, community, connection, and cooperation!

To celebrate, we created something brand new: Co-op Herb & Spice Soap! A wonderful blend inspired by the experience of wandering through the Co-op- herbs, spices, good food, and that unmistakable feeling of community. We can’t wait for you to smell it!

Come celebrate with us Saturday, August 22nd from 2–6pm at Steamboat Landing. The celebration is free to attend and will include live music, Co-op community stories, snacks and free samples, local vendors, games, prizes, and plenty of reasons to celebrate 50 wonderful years.

We’ll see you there- and we hope you’ll stop by to say hello and check out the new soap!
