103 years young and still chasing adventure! 💛

Our residents at StoryPoint Grand Rapids West are making headlines! Nine residents, ranging in age from 65 to 103, recently took on a 1,400-foot zip line at Muskegon Luge!

At StoryPoint, we believe senior living should be filled with opportunities to explore, try something new and continue doing the things that bring you joy. And these residents are showing us exactly what that can look like!

It’s safe to say our StoryPoint Faribault residents have a soft spot for our feline friends! 🐱💛 They spent the day visiting the rescued cats at Furball Farm, where there was plenty of kitten cuddles to go around!

We love seeing our communities come together as one big StoryPoint family, especially when there’s a whole patch of fall fun to share! 😍🍎🌾

Residents from StoryPoint Adel, StoryPoint Altoona, StoryPoint Johnston, StoryPoint Kettlestone, StoryPoint Norwalk, StoryPoint Pleasant Hill, StoryPoint Siena Hills, and StoryPoint Timberline gathered at Iowa Orchard and Pie Bakery for pumpkins, bakery treats, and a beautiful autumn day. 🙌 New friendships took root alongside familiar ones.

With so many residents from neighboring communities sharing stories, laughter, and the season’s simple joys, it felt like a big family gathering. 🎃🧡✨

🎀 Our annual partnership with I Have Wings Breast Cancer Foundation was another incredible success—and somehow, this special event just keeps getting bigger and better each year!

We are so grateful to our StoryPoint Union team, our residents, the amazing I Have Wings volunteers, and our wider community who showed up, gave generously, and helped make it all possible.

$7,700 raised for an incredible cause—and countless reminders of what can happen when a community comes together with heart. 💗

Thank you for helping us make a difference. We already can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together next year!

🕯️ Our Candlelight Concert Series shined especially bright with the immensely talented Nicholas Grey.

Nicholas filled our community with beautiful music and the warm glow of candlelight—but what made the evening truly special was having his grandparents, who call StoryPoint Union home, right there to experience it with us.

A beautiful night of music, family, and moments we won’t soon forget. ❤️

This August, StoryPoint Group communities will take part in a week-long adventure inspired by The Amazing Race. Residents will form teams, earn points, take on challenges, and navigate twists and turns as they race their way through the week.

No two races will look exactly alike. Each community will create its own destinations, challenges, and experiences — making every adventure unique.

🔪 Some people spend a lifetime perfecting a craft—and Charlie is one of them.

We were honored to spend the afternoon with StoryPoint Union resident Charlie as he shared the story behind his nationally recognized handmade long ri**es and custom knives. Even more special, collectors and longtime customers brought pieces from their own collections for display, giving us the rare opportunity to experience Charlie’s masterful craftsmanship up close.

🎨A little cardstock, a little ink, and a whole lot of creativity!

Today we turned simple supplies into beautiful handmade greeting cards during our card stamping workshop. Each design was uniquely its own, and every card was filled with creativity, personality, and heart.

It’s amazing how something as simple as making a card can spark laughter, conversation, and a sense of accomplishment. We had such a fun time creating together at StoryPoint Union! ❤️

There’s just something special about homemade ice cream on a beautiful summer afternoon! ☀️🍦

Earlier in the day, our amazing resident volunteers rolled up their sleeves and mixed up several delicious homemade flavors, filling the community with sweet aromas and even sweeter anticipation. To make it extra special, we even fried up a warm funnel cake topping, giving everyone the chance to create a summer treat that was every bit as delicious as it sounds!

By afternoon, everyone gathered outdoors to enjoy a scoop (or two!), soak up the sunshine, and spend time with friends. It was the perfect recipe for a memorable summer day.

A huge thank you to our wonderful resident volunteers for helping make today’s Ice Cream Social such a sweet success! 💙🍨

🫑👩🏼‍🍳Chef Amy’s Table, our culinary taste & discussion program, served up a delicious Lentil & Roasted Pepper Dip! This savory treat paired perfectly with veggies & crackers!

Our menu is always evolving; our culinary team loves to introduce us to new flavors, and we love to taste test them!

What a night! 🎹🎶

Our 2026 Summer Concert Series kept the good times rolling with our second show of the season as Terry Lee & His Million Dollar Band brought the unforgettable sound of Jerry Lee Lewis and classic rockabilly to StoryPoint Union!

From the first piano riff to the final encore, the room was filled with smiling faces, clapping hands, and plenty of dancing. Residents, families, friends, and team members were all singing along to timeless hits, while Terry Lee’s electrifying performance had everyone caught up in the excitement. Even from the upstairs balcony, guests couldn’t resist stopping to enjoy the show!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for another incredible evening of music, laughter, and community. Summer nights are made for memories like these, and we’re just getting started.

🎸 Our Summer Concert Series continues on Thursday, August 20th at 7:00 PM as DaMudcats bring an evening of soulful blues to StoryPoint Union! We’re hoping Mother Nature cooperates so we can enjoy another beautiful night of music outdoors—but if the weather has other plans, don’t worry… we’ve always got a stage ready for another unforgettable summer night of live music. 🦈🌊 We had a fintastic afternoon at StoryPoint Union as we welcomed Corbin Zdunic for an unforgettable presentation all about sharks!

Corbin’s passion and knowledge were truly inspiring. As a future oceanographer 🌎🐠, he had us captivated with fascinating facts, incredible stories, and an amazing collection of authentic shark teeth 🦷 and shark bones that we were able to see up close.

There’s something special about seeing a young person share what they love with such confidence and enthusiasm. 💙 Thank you, Corbin, for reminding us that curiosity has no age limit and for making learning such an exciting adventure. We can’t wait to see where your passion for the ocean takes you! 🌊🦈
