🌊 Ocean Themed GROW & GO! Recap 🦀

Such a fun week together exploring all things ocean!

📚We started with 5 Little Sharks

🦈After, we got our bodies moving with gross motor play…hiding from the shark, crab walks, eel slithers, and dolphin jumps. These playful activities help support coordination, body awareness, motor planning, and getting those wiggles out.

🐠We worked through a short obstacle course to encourage motor skills, visual motor development, and confidence through movement!

🌊Next up, the ocean sensory bin for some hands-on exploring and imaginative play.

We wrapped up with our “You are a CLAW-SOME” Father’s Day crab craft 🦀❤️ (because apparently I was a week early 😅).

Thanks for another fun week together! I love getting to watch these little friendships and moments grow 💙

Grow & Go! – Safari Jungle Recap🐯

Last week’s class was such a blast!

🐒We kicked things off with Grumpy Monkey, talking about big feelings in a way the kids totally connected with.

Then our little explorers headed into the jungle:

🍌Soccer ball “food gathering” — lots of kicking, chasing, and proud moments

🐊Stepping stones + balance beams to avoid the crocodiles — so much balance, bravery, and imagination

🌴Parachute jungle canopy — teamwork, listening, and big movement all wrapped in play

🦓Our Safari sensory bin was a hit too. The kids loved talking about the animals, their habitats, and all the fun “real life” details.

🎨We wrapped up with dot markers to slow things down and get creative before heading home.
