From exciting outings and live entertainment to crafts, games, delicious treats, fitness, socials, and so much more, there's something for everyone to enjoy all month long! ❤️

🫧🦽Splish, splash... our walkers and wheelchairs got a bath! 🦽🫧

Today was all about shining things up with our Wheelchair & Walker Car Wash! Our residents had so much fun watching their trusted wheels get sparkling clean while enjoying lots of smiles and laughter along the way. ✨🦽💙

The fun didn't stop there! Our residents, staff, and family members even took a trip through the "car wash" themselves to cool off from the summer sunshine. 💦☀️ There were plenty of laughs, happy faces, and refreshing moments shared by everyone!

🦈 Shark Week has officially taken a bite out of the fun at The Gables of Green!💙

Our residents had a fintastic time as we made a fun Shark Week snack together! We created delicious no-bake cheesecakes featuring crushed graham crackers for the sandy beach, shark gummies swimming on top, and adorable little umbrellas for the perfect summer touch. 🧁🏖️🦈

There were plenty of smiles, laughs, and sweet treats to go around as everyone enjoyed spending time together and getting creative. We love finding fun ways to celebrate the little things and make every day special!

💛✨ Gorgeous Grandma's Day was a beautiful day of relaxation, laughter, and a little extra pampering at The Gables of Green! ✨💛

Our amazing ladies enjoyed a spa-inspired afternoon complete with soothing hand and face massages, fresh manicures, hydrating aloe masks, and plenty of lotion to leave everyone feeling refreshed and cared for. They truly deserved every moment of it! 💅🌸

The fun didn't stop there—it was also National Lemon Day! 🍋 Residents treated themselves to delicious homemade lemon bars, lemon cookies, and a refreshing "create your own" flavored lemonade bar with lots of tasty mix-ins. It was the perfect way to add a little sunshine to the day!

Here's to celebrating the wonderful women who fill our community with wisdom, kindness, and so many beautiful memories. 💛🍋

🦁🐘 We're Going to the Akron Zoo! 🦒🦩

Our residents are getting ready for a wild adventure at the Akron Zoo on September 4th, and we'd love to have some volunteers join us! 💚

We're looking for caring volunteers to help push residents in wheelchairs as we explore the zoo together. It's a wonderful way to spend the day, make new memories, and bring smiles to our residents' faces.

If you're interested in helping, please sign up at the front desk. We can't wait for this fun-filled day! 🐾🌿

What a sweet time at The Gables of Green! 💚

🎨 Our residents got creative by designing beautiful personalized door signs to add a special touch to their rooms.

🍪 We also celebrated National Sugar Cookie Day the best way we know how with delicious sugar cookies and plenty of smiles!

🚌 Our adventure continued with a wonderful outing to Dutch Valley, where residents enjoyed great food, shopping, and even better company.

🏐 To wrap up the fun, everyone got moving with an exciting game of volleyball led by our friend David from Better Together Home Services. Thank you, David, for bringing the energy and helping make exercise so much fun!

Milkshakes, Music & Memories!🥤🎶

Our residents had an absolutely wonderful time taking a trip down memory lane with the talented Sarah! 🎤 From singing along to favorite classics to sharing special memories, the room was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of sweet moments. Of course, no trip down memory lane is complete without delicious milkshakes! 🍦💙

A huge thank you to Andrew, Jen, and Nicole with The Care Team Hospice Care for generously providing this fun and memorable afternoon for our residents. We truly appreciate your kindness and continued support! 💚

Nothing brings people together quite like a good puzzle! Our residents enjoyed spending time with friends, working together piece by piece, sharing conversations, laughs, and celebrating every completed section. Teamwork really does make the puzzle come together! 😊

Today, we proudly celebrate 250 years of American independence - a milestone honoring the courage, sacrifice, and spirit that have shaped our nation.

As we gather with our residents, families, and staff, we're grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and for the generations who helped build the America we know today. Wishing everyone a day filled with laughter, good food, cherished memories, and safe celebrations with the people you love.

Our residents have been enjoying a wonderful mix of activities this week, including some live music at Happy Hour, a delicious waffle social, an iced tea & popcorn social, fun-filled games, relaxing scenic drives, and creating beautiful flower bouquets.💐

Today we celebrated the 4th of July with a fun-filled cookout, delicious food, great music, and even better company! Our residents enjoyed a festive afternoon featuring sloppy joes, broccoli salad, loaded potato salad, chips and dip, fresh watermelon, and a patriotic red, white, and blue dessert all prepared by our Chef Cody. 🧑🏼‍🍳🍉

A huge thank you to Mark Townsend for providing wonderful live music that had everyone smiling, singing along, and celebrating together! 🎶🎤

We'd also like to give a special thank you to Andrew with The Care Team Hospice Care for bringing delicious cookies for our residents to enjoy.🍪❤️

We're so grateful to spend holidays making memories with our amazing residents, families, and staff. Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and patriotic Independence Day! 🇺🇸✨❤️
