Cold day out at the Port of Indiana this morning coordinating a delivery of a 300 ft conveyor belt. 7 degrees plus wind whipping off Lake Michigan made a windchill well below zero 😳

Our Management Team spent Monday and Tuesday down at US Steel -Granite City Works ; we walked lines and systems and evaluated what’s needed to assist them for their planned restart of the Blast Furnace, Caster, and BOF/LMF. Was a jam packed two days, but a lot was accomplished. Always rewarding as we do our part in keeping one of the Steel Making Engines in this economy expand and contribute to American Jobs, Made in America Steel, and insure our Country’s commitment to National Security. Glad to get home late Tuesday night, plus knowing we our an integral part of this start up!😎👍 🇺🇸

Last week was a good end to the month delivering (2) large Steel Cable Conveyor Belts used to unload and yard stack ore pellets on the lake front in NW Indiana!

It’s always the unplanned customer breakdowns and emergencies that happen on a Friday before a Holiday weekend ( and today was one of those days) …. but we got our customer a replacement conveyor belt in a matter of hours, their millwrights got it installed and they were back up running for the weekend ! Problem solving and keeping our commitment to our Steel Market customers is what we do best ! It was a good day ! Never get tired of being a part of the heavy industrial engine in America!🇺🇸
