Roger Denton Reed

Roger, 84, entered into the presence of the Lord peacefully on July 28, 2026.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary; daughters, Julie Smith (Dave) and Sally Aguilar; his "favorite" granddaughter, Amy Anderson (Dylan), and his "favorite" grandson, Noah Aguilar. The eldest of six siblings, he is also survived by sisters, Susan Nadel (Carlton), Janet Najar, and Maryann Longacre (Clint); multiple nieces and nephews, cousins, and his aunt, Kathleen Sabin (Harry).

A native of Colorado, Roger graduated from Wheat Ridge High School and Western Colorado University with a degree in accounting and finance. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1961-1967. Roger retired from the Department of Defense after 33+ years.

Roger loved his family, friends, and life outdoors. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and as a young man, riding his horse on South Table Mountain. He was an avid gardener and made award-winning jellies. He loved the mountains and the beach. He and Mary shared their time between Colorado and their beach house in Seagrove, Florida. A faithful servant of Jesus since childhood, Roger remained active in his local church until the end.

Sandra Laurelle Sundermeier Moore

Sandra Laurelle Sundermeier Moore, 67, of Arvada, Colorado, passed away peacefully at her home on June 28, 2026. She was a cherished mother and friend, and her presence will be deeply missed.

Sandra was born on April 25, 1959, in Palmdale, California, to Patricia Edwina Sundermeier and Gary Lee Sundermeier. The family later moved to Arvada, Colorado, where she attended elementary school through high school. After graduating from Arvada West High School, Sandra worked as a preschool teacher for many years in Jefferson County.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Rick Moore; her beloved son, Rhett Connar Michael Moore; her brother, Mark Sundermeier; and sister-in-law, Sandra Shepard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia Edwina Sundermeier and Gary Lee Sundermeier, and her brother, Gary Allen Sundermeier.

Sandra treasured the relationships she had with numerous cousins, aunts, and lifelong friends from grade school. Her greatest love was her son, Rhett, with whom she enjoyed watching scary movies and listening to music.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held, with details provided later. For those unable to attend, a live stream will be available.
