🩹 That Cut Might Need More Than a Bandage
Most little cuts and scrapes heal just fine with basic care.
But every once in a while, that "it's probably fine" injury deserves another look.
Pay attention if you notice increasing redness, warmth, swelling, worsening pain, drainage, red streaking, or fever.
Those can be signs that an infection may be developing.
And if the wound came from something dirty, rusty, an animal bite, or a puncture, there may be other things to consider, including whether your tetanus vaccination is current.
We're big fans of not panicking over every paper cut.
We're also big fans of knowing when not to ignore something.
Not sure? Ask.
