Wheelchair tennis takes center court at the 2026 US Open.
From September 8–12, 2026, the 2026 US Open Wheelchair Championships will take place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The Championships bring 48 of the world’s top wheelchair tennis athletes to New York across the men’s, women’s, and quad divisions, while 16 players will compete in the junior wheelchair divisions.
Wheelchair tennis is one of the most highly professionalized adapted sports in the world. It is an elite sport where athletes compete for Grand Slam titles through powerful shot-making, tactical precision, speed, and exceptional wheelchair skills.
