This week, our Loma Linda team had the privilege of providing complimentary skin cancer screenings for the Redlands Police Department. 💙🚓

We screened 25 officers, and every conversation reminded us why events like these matter so much.

After the department experienced the heartbreaking loss of one of their own to melanoma last year, this screening carried even greater meaning. Raising awareness, encouraging early detection, and supporting those who serve our community is something we’re truly honored to be a part of.

A huge thank you to Jessica Arnold, NP, for helping make this event such a success, and to every member of our team who prepared giveaway bags, roomed patients, scanned body maps, coordinated behind the scenes, and helped throughout the day. Every role made a difference. We also want to thank Bill for creating the incredible flyer we were able to share with the officers.

The department told us this was one of the best-attended wellness events they’ve hosted, which speaks volumes about the growing importance of skin cancer awareness and prevention.

Thank you to the Redlands Police Department for welcoming us. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve those who serve our community. 💙
