Megan Joyce, LAc FABORM graduated summa cm laude from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine. She is a founding member of a medical outreach non-profit called the One World Health Project, and has provided medical care to underserved populations in Peru and Honduras. She completed advanced training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Zhejiang Traditional Chinese Medicine University in Hangzhou, China, and currently treats patients in Los Angeles and Orange County.

One of the favorite parts of my job is uncovering hidden obstacles to fertility. I am 💯 in support for evidenced based medicine. And… I think that sometimes we’re not asking all the necessary questions… ESPECIALLY in women’s health, and therefore do not have all the data to make the best recommendation for each patient. This case study illustrates how standard ACOG recommendations could have left an important data point uncovered and untreated.
