A few days in the heat of summer take two, Barcelona.
All the roads in the village unite at the fountain.
Avenue of Liberty, Avenue of the Acacia Trees-The fountain rises at the center of the plaza; on sunny days, rainbows in the p**s of the cherub.
In summer, couples sit at the pool’s edge.
There’s room in the pool for many reflections-the plaza’s nearly empty, the acacia trees don’t get this far.
And the Avenue of Liberty is barren and austere; its image doesn’t crowd the water.

In Thai medicine it is said that 80 diseases stem from imbalances in the vata constitution. The element of this constitution is wind. Let’s talk a little about the wind element. The function of wind is growth and vibration ( we can see this as all movement ) think talking, walking, taking in visual information, auditory information. It is the movement of digestion, the movement of expression (speech) , the movement circulating the body ( blood, lymph, even nerves), and the movement of our breath to name some.
This wind moves through the “container” of our body and alters our experience of things somatic and emotional based on its balance.
Seeking this balance for some requires agitation of the tissue of the body, lengthening of the sinews of body and for others finding this balance requires slow, even heavy compression, perfect fit and harmonious movement. Which depends on in which direction wind is out of balance, too much? Too little?

Want the full description go to my link tree and learn how to pack like a pro for your European summer. Italian air conditioning is at best either somewhat cool or non existent so skip the long sleeve layers you won’t need them. They are notorious for losing bags of you have connections and if you are on an island like we are for your retreat you will not see your suitcase until close to the end. Finally cobble stone streets, steps and buildings with four floor walk ups are common in Italy making it all the more reason to pack a carry on and be efficient. You can always buy a cheap duffle, shop til you drop and check it on the way home! 🌼
