Proud Moments provides quality, individualized behavioral therapy to children on the autism spectrum. Licensed and trained therapists implement behavioral methods in the child’s environment to immediately improve social, behavioral and adaptive skills. Proud Moments provides these services through your commercial insurance company or Child Health Plus plan. These services are in addition to any service provided by the Department of Education. The talented and compassionate staff at Proud Moments are here to help children reach their maximum potential by designing programs specifically tailored to meet child’s goals.

Balloon Fiesta season came to our Rio Rancho center! 🎈

Our team welcomed Balloon Aloft for a hot air balloon demonstration right outside in our parking lot and yard, and our learners got to walk inside the balloon.

October is Balloon Fiesta time in New Mexico, and many schools celebrate with activities like this, so we were thrilled to give our kiddos the same opportunity.

Let's talk sensory issues. A common misconception is that sensory sensitivities are just a phase kids grow out of.

In reality, sensory processing differences are often a lasting part of how a child experiences the world, particularly for autistic children.

The goal is not to make sensory needs disappear, but to help children build coping strategies and find support that works for them. 🌿
