A lot of pelvic floor symptoms get brushed off as “normal,” but that doesn’t mean you have to just live with them. 🌿

Things like leaking with coughing or exercise, pelvic heaviness, or ongoing tension and discomfort can sometimes be signs that the pelvic floor isn’t functioning as well as it could.

Here are a few symptoms people commonly ignore:

✔️ Leaking during coughing, running, or workouts → Your pelvic floor should help manage pressure and support control during movement.

✔️ Pelvic pressure or heaviness → That dragging or heavy feeling after long days or exercise may be a sign your muscles need better support and coordination.

✔️ Ongoing pain or tension → Pelvic floor dysfunction isn’t always weakness. Sometimes the muscles are too tight, overactive, or have trouble relaxing properly.

Pelvic floor physical therapy focuses on how these muscles work together with the rest of your body to improve coordination, comfort, confidence, and everyday movement. 💪

If you’ve experienced any of these symptoms, know that support is available, and you don’t have to just push through it. Feel free to message us or ask questions below 💬

Big congratulations to Ashley on your graduation! 🎓

From day one, you stayed committed, kept putting in the work, and trusted the process every step of the way. Seeing your progress over time and watching you move and feel better has been such a rewarding part of the journey for all of us.

We’re grateful to have been part of your recovery and excited to see you continue building on everything you’ve achieved outside the clinic too 💪

Help us celebrate Ashley in the comments and show some love for this huge milestone. 🎉

The way you walk can reveal more about your body than most people realize 👣

Sometimes the body adapts quietly to pain, weakness, or limited mobility and those changes can show up in your walking pattern without you noticing.

A shorter step, uneven weight shifting, or changes in foot position may seem small, but over time they can affect how the rest of the body moves too.

That’s why gait analysis looks at the bigger picture, not just where the pain is.

Swipe through to learn how your walking pattern may be giving clues about your movement, balance, and overall function ➡️

If you’ve been dealing with recurring pain, stiffness, or movement issues, we’re here to help guide you.

Great clinicians never stop learning. 👏

Our PT team spent time sharpening their skills, expanding their clinical knowledge, and continuing to grow through continuing education this year.

From hands-on techniques to better movement analysis and patient care strategies, continuing education helps us stay current, evidence-informed, and committed to giving our patients the best care possible.

Proud of this team for always showing up with curiosity, collaboration, and a drive to improve. 💙
