Happy Imbolc 🌑🌞🌝
This is the last post I’m going to make for The Cure.
The Cure began with a vision in 2017. It was so much a part of who I was that it has been difficult to know where to even move on to from here.
But this past year+ of moving inward I have realized a few things: the first being that this new world paradigm is calling us to step up in more profound ways than we may have ever thought possible. There’s not time to sit back, because even as we are creating, they are destroying.
The Cure was a painful ending for me, but I realize now that it’s ending was the greatest gift in my life: the energy it carried no longer resonates with who I am becoming. I am dropping density.
The destination of where I’m going is , and it is damn juicy. I’ll still be offering a few sacred things: virtual yoga classes and yoga trainings: through there. Any info about those, you can find there.
So many things I want to say before I go, but here’s one: to the mommas, I get it now. All the times no one showed up to a class and I thought it was them holding themselves back. im still rooted in the celebration of female sexuality, but WOW was I off 🤣 my sexuality does not exist on the dance floor anymore. It exists in bouncing my daughter back to sleep every morning at 3. My sexuality doesn’t need to twerk to drake. It needs a big warm blanket and a shoulder rub.
Imbolc celebrates the goddess (or, later, saint) Brigid, who is the patron saint of fire 🔥 and milk 🥛 : midwives, newborns, cows, rebirth, and burning away the old. Sounds about right.
I’m going to post some throwbacks in our stories today to celebrate all The Cure was and will always be, rooted in memory + time. If The Cure impacted you, give us a shout in our DMs. Immense gratitude for every one of you who made it what it was.
✨ together we rise.
