Well, I can't believe it has been more than 4 years since my last post.
Well, lots has happened...
I'll just outline all the things and stuff so we can catch up...
First - after I left in that fateful day, I had to move in with my girlfriend in order to improve my living condition in which at the time was not ideal. Leaving behind my mentors (which i will reserve the right to specify), which also made upset a lot of close family members as well as friends, had to close down the business. Which for my business owner friend, have a trusty CPA near you at all times, they are worth every penny.
2nd- Georgia brought its own set of challenges, the lifestyle here is VERY different than FL. Let's put it this way, I couldn't relate with anybody until recently... me. As well as, many individuals here have never actually experienced technology, nor a real life struggle, so when encountered with opposition, they act unpredictively. Very incredible.
3rd- I had to work in oddjobs since no place that I applied hired me. I worked as a Manager in a common breakfast rest (which name i will not mention) which made me experience the scary reality of how unhygenic some food places can be. Even worst, places like a very popular commercial asian restaurant were management were very abusive verbally and make you question your worth.
4- Then working in corporate world, where every little detail can be used against and where some one uo in the hierarchy, if he/she/they/them, do not like you, you will be stuck or fired.
5- Having to fend of with any phone app to make $$$, only to find out that you are using more valuable time than money earned.
6- Working in the private industry were everything has to be a certain way, customer gets to be abusive were you have to play servant and smile and say thank you, in fear of upsetting the customer because if he/she/they/them feel offended from you response or factual answers that were backed by company policies, but the company will use you as a scapegoat because of your language barrier/ethnicity/gender.
-----that sums up in a nut shell all the bad stuff, excluding personal things that each and everyone of us struggle. Which I support mental health, you are not alone, always confide with a buddy, or go to Betterhelp.com---
If you have read this far, I commend you for this.... now onto the good parts, because all these experiences have made me a tough as nails and a beast among men.
After I left, I learned that all the infirmation that you need is at the reach of a city hall, Better business beaureu (BBB), and google.
I learned how quickly one can become anything they set out to be. If they have the "end in mind" (10 habits of highly effective people).
I learned how to make money and the value of presentation, you can have the best product, but if it looks not presentable... uneducated, non-visionary people will not buy it. Which unfortunately, is a very big volume of people.
I learned from my elders, invest in stocks, create money for yourself over the long haul. Robinhood is a good place to start.
Nothing will happen, if you do nothing. Anything MIGHT IF YOU TRY. Read it again. In order to reduce the amount of possible bad things and increase your chances of success you need to plan ahead, but adjust as needed. Consistency is the key. Go to youtube.com and research 4DX, S.M.A.R.T. goals. F.I.T.T.E principle.
Get certified in ANYTHING that you know. Do not let anybody under sell your skill. But if you lack skill, make sure you sit back, listen, learn, and discard what you do not need.
Learn every skill you can, even if its not your main job. It will save you money, resources, and you will be able to know when you are being conned.
Last but not least, ALWAYS BE KIND FIRST, but destroy if threathened. There is a Mongolian Proverb that I will always take with me. It says, "Make sure to defeat your enemy completely, or he will come back to kill you like a hungry tiger". This means many things... what I took from this is, make sure you do things right, and do them well, or you might run into unforseen problems when you LEAST expect/want them.
I am currently in a better place, I am well established, I have made the most money I have ever envisioned coming from Puerto Rico, I have the 3rd highest position at the Wellness Center (Private club Gym) that I work at and the most paid. Contrary what friends and family that didn't supported me said that I wouldn't have. All I am saying is, if you envision, plan, and you committ to whatever it is that you set your eyes on for the future... you will be alright.
