Located in the Midwood neighborhood of Brooklyn, BBC is the only private free standing birthing facility in the New York metro area. We offer high-quality, family-centered care, allowing low-risk patients to give birth in a calm, home-like environment. A new sister birth center, Jazz Birth Center of Manhattan, opened recently in Midtown providing the same excellent care by a separate team of midwives on call 24/7. The board-certified midwives at BBC who make up the Brooklyn and Jazz Midwifery groups are deeply committed to supporting and empowering patients and their families. In addition to prenatal visits, labor and delivery and postpartum care, our midwives offer routine GYN and wellness care. Clients see our midwives for preconception, annual exams, pap smears, breast exams, and family planning services. In addition, our programs include lactation services, prenatal classes in birth preparation, childbirth education and newborn care. Orientation, breastfeeding, dress rehearsal and Covid-19 update sessions are provided weekly.
