My favorite morning drink right now is a decaf coffee ☕️ with Saltt electrolytes (Cocoa or Carmel flavor) and a dash of half and half. I love Saltt electrolytes because they contain a balanced ratio of sodium, potassium, and magnesium, especially when compared to other popular electrolyte supplement brands. They use stevia as a natural sweetener, which has minimal to no impact on blood sugar levels. These electrolytes are definitely salty 😆 , so I use half a packet in one coffee.

I drink organic decaf coffee (processed with Swiss Water Process) because caffeine is a big trigger for migraines for me.

f you’re working on balancing blood sugar, supporting metabolism, or shifting to a lower-carb way of eating, electrolytes are a key piece of the puzzle that often gets overlooked!

Electrolytes help to:

✨ Prevent blood sugar crashes and energy dips.
✨ Support healthy muscle and nerve function.
✨ Keep you hydrated on a deeper level — because water alone isn’t enough without minerals like sodium, potassium, and magnesium.
✨ Ease the transition into low-carb eating — yes, they help prevent “keto flu” symptoms like headaches, dizziness, and fatigue.
✨ Support a healthy stress response — stress drains your electrolytes, especially sodium and magnesium!

Electrolytes are about more than hydration — they’re a key tool for metabolic health, energy, and feeling good in your body.

The number of calories in a food does not tell you anything about how nutritious it is, how your body processes it, or how beneficial it is for your body. Calories do matter to some extent—but it’s more complicated than the “calories in, calories out” adage because not all calories are equal. Calories that are from nutrient-dense foods are processed differently than calories from highly refined foods.

Instead of counting calories, it’s far more beneficial to focus on counting nutrients.

Many people are familiar with Round-Up as a w**d killer that is used on the lawn. You might also know that it's used on crops that have been genetically modified (GMO) to increase tolerance to the use of Round-up. AND it's also used extensively on non-GMO crops, often right before harvest as a drying agent. That's the worst time to use a pesticide because it's absorbed directly into the food. It can't be washed off.

Our entire food system is contaminated with glyphosate, and organic, local (small farms where the chance of soil contamination is less) produce is your best bet.

"Jurors found on Friday that the company had acted with "malice" and that its w**dkillers contributed "substantially" to Mr. Johnson's terminal illness."

A US jury finds the company knew its Roundup w**dkillers were dangerous, but Monsanto vows to appeal.

Hawaii will be the first state to ban the sale of toxic sunscreen, which damages the reefs and marine life.

Not only that, but I’m also convinced that these common sunscreen ingredients actually contribute to the development of cancer.

Oxybenzone and octinoxate, chemicals found in many common sunscreen products, are known to kill coral and marine life.

There are many good reasons to avoid processed foods and grains in general. This is one of them.

"Internal documents obtained by the Guardian show the FDA has had trouble finding any food that does not carry traces of the pesticide.

“I have brought wheat crackers, granola cereal and corn meal from home and there’s a fair amount in all of them,” FDA chemist Richard Thompson wrote to colleagues in an email last year regarding glyphosate. Thompson, who is based in an FDA regional laboratory in Arkansas, wrote that broccoli was the only food he had “on hand” that he found to be glyphosate-free."

The FDA has been testing food samples for traces of glyphosate for two years, but the agency has not yet released any official results
