One last getaway of the summer. I highly suggest the Surf Hotel in Buena Vista for all you Colorado moms out there. Relaxing vibe and a small town feel - my kids feel at home here since we’ve been coming for several years (get here quick though because the small town vibe is changing since I showed up here 31 years ago!) The hot springs by the river are my favorite-wrist pain is gone today. Happy summer, people!

A stop in FairPlay, CO and I had the pleasure of meeting Brian. He didn’t think he was qualified to share what being healthy means to him (in his words, he’s too fat and an alcoholic). But after a while he opened up to share that the purpose of life is to “build a soul.” To dive deep into spirituality, to help other people, to leave this world a better place. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me, Brian. Your outlook on life is one of the healthiest perspectives I’ve heard. Good health isn’t always about how you appear on the outside. The deep work comes from within.

April 2022 was the best month of my life.

Galapagos: thank you for beauty that takes my breath away and for the wildlife I’ve never seen before.
Peru/Machu Picchu: thank you for the delicious food, the beautiful textiles, and the magnificent Andes mountains.
Amazon: thank you for having beauty that’s harder to see but it’s definitely there. And for the piranha dinner.
Costa Rica: thank you for the most beautiful hot springs I’ve ever seen and for teaching us how to properly surf.
Life just keeps getting better.

• Breckenridge (thank you for being so comfortable)
• Vail (thank you for back bowls that make Anna feel like she can’t tell if she’s skiing up or down; really poor lighting)
• Beaver Creek (thank you for the powder)
• Crested Butte (thank you for the warm hippie love and the really hard terrain)
• Bonus day in Buena Vista (thank you for hot springs that heal our overworked bodies)

We ❤️ Colorado and we have gotten so good at getting changed in parking lots.
