Subject reports chills, a heavy chest, waking at 3:33 every night, and the feeling of being watched.

Investigation complete.
The haunting isn’t in the house.

It’s in the nervous system. 👻

Swipe to the end of the tape for the ritual that clears it. Try it tonight, lights low.

Do you open your mouth when you breathe?

Watch what happens the next time things get hard. For so many of us, the mouth pops open to grab more air.

But that’s often a sign you could be over-breathing.

Try this next time stress hits:
- Close your mouth
- Breathe in slow and low through your nose
- Let the exhale be longer than the inhale

Noticing breath patterns like this is exactly what breathwork facilitators learn to see in their clients. 👀

Nobody wants breathwork.

They want what happens after they breathe: better sleep, calmer conversations, finally letting go of what their body has been holding onto.

Part 2 of Called to Facilitate is now live on Deep Breaths and Big Conversations

In this episode we get into:
- Why getting paid doesn’t corrupt healing work
- The healer’s wound, and how to heal it
- How to find your niche (the result, not the breath)
- The real math behind a $5,000+/month breathwork practice
- Why you don’t have to be the “perfect healer” to do this work

If you’ve felt the pull to facilitate but money beliefs keep holding you back, this one’s for you.

You can understand exactly WHY you do something and still find yourself doing it again.

That’s a frustrating place to be. You’ve connected the dots. You know the story. But what do you do when the same trigger shows up on a Tuesday afternoon?

This is why I care so much about what happens AFTER a breathwork journey.

Did you have room to listen to yourself?
What did you learn?
What support do you need?
What will you practice differently?

A powerful experience deserves follow-through. The conversation you’ve been avoiding. The boundary you’re learning to hold. The daily practice you actually use.

And as facilitators, we need to keep asking questions, too. About the advice we repeat. The techniques we choose. Whether what we’re offering fits the person in front of us.

That’s the level of care I teach inside the Get Living Breathwork Facilitator Certification.

Comment CERT if you feel called to help others through this work. 💜

“I love this technique” tells me about your experience.

It doesn’t tell me enough about the person you’re guiding.

The next step is learning what to look at before making a recommendation, then checking how that person actually responds.

That’s the conversation we’re having inside my free webinar, “Breathwork: The Missing Piece.”

For coaches, healers, wellness professionals, and current or aspiring breathwork facilitators.

Almost three years ago, Amy hit a wall.

Everything she usually leaned on to pull herself out of a hard season had stopped working. In her words, “I just really felt lost.”

So she started trying new things. One night, she walked into a soundbath with no idea that breathwork would be part of it. She’d never heard of it and had never tried it.

When it was over, she lay there thinking: “What just happened to me?”

She didn’t have a name for what she’d felt, but she knew she had to find out more. That curiosity pulled her toward something she couldn’t explain—a strong feeling that this was the direction she was supposed to go…

What she found on the other side changed everything. 🤍

life hacks I’m learning in my 40s 🌿

1. The double inhale. When I’m overwhelmed, I take two quick inhales through my nose and one long sigh out. It’s my reset button in traffic, before a call, or mid-meltdown.

2. Longer exhale, calmer me. If my exhale is longer than my inhale, my body gets the message that it’s safe. I do this before I answer a text I’m triggered by.

3. Breathe before I decide. No big yes or no until I’ve taken three slow breaths. My 30s were full of yeses I regretted.

4. Feel it to heal it, but set a timer. I let myself feel the hard thing for 10 minutes, then I move my body. I don’t skip the feeling, and I don’t drown in it either.

5. Morning breath before morning phone. Five minutes of breathing before I check anything. It changes the whole day.

I’m 44 and still learning, but my nervous system has never felt this good.
