Atlas Brain & Spine Focusing on Structural Correction of the Head and Neck.

Structural correction of the head and neck to allow the body to heal on its own, done by removing the interference to the nervous system at the brain stem level, and allowing the body to begin the healing process, naturally.

Your spine is designed to handle life’s daily demands, but ongoing spinal stress can gradually take its toll. Over time, abnormal stress on the spine may contribute to wear and tear, reduced mobility, and degenerative changes.

Addressing spinal misalignments early may help reduce unnecessary stress on the body and support better long-term spinal health. Small problems today can become bigger challenges tomorrow. 🩻

If you’re experiencing recurring neck pain, headaches, stiffness, or other symptoms, it may be worth evaluating how spinal stress is affecting your health.

Is Your Neck Giving You Sciatica?

Most people treat sciatica by focusing on the low back or the hip, but the real “master switch” might be at the very top of your spine.

As shown in the diagrams, when the Atlas (C1) vertebra shifts out of alignment—the Atlas Subluxation Complex—it doesn’t just stay in the neck. It creates a “top-down” chain reaction:

Brainstem Compromise: The misalignment causes mechanical interference and distorts the brain’s postural messages.

The Survival Tilt: To keep your eyes level, your body compensates by dropping a shoulder and raising a hip.

The Piriformis Trap: That raised hip forces the piriformis muscle into a constant, painful contraction right over your sciatic nerve.

You can stretch your hamstrings forever, but if your head is “off-center,” your pelvis will stay tilted. Upper Cervical Chiropractic restores the Atlas to its neutral position, allowing your pelvis to level out and finally taking the pressure off that sciatic nerve.

Stop chasing the symptom and fix the source.

Is Your Jaw Pain Actually a Neck Issue?

If you’ve been struggling with TMJD, jaw clicking, or a bite that feels “off,” the real culprit might be hiding just inches away in your upper neck.

As the diagram shows, your jaw (TMJ) and your upper spine work as a single functional unit. When the Atlas (C1) vertebra is misaligned—known as an Atlas Subluxation—it creates a “Biomechanical Cascade”:

The Tilt: A misaligned Atlas causes the skull to sit unevenly.

The Shift: To compensate for the tilted skull, your jaw must shift its position to chew and speak.

The Stress: This shift causes asymmetrical muscle tension, joint compression, and that painful clicking or locking.

Even the best dental appliances can struggle to work if the foundation—your upper neck—is unlevel. Upper Cervical Chiropractic focuses on leveling that foundation, allowing your jaw to track properly and your muscles to finally relax. 🛠️✨

Stop chasing the pain and start fixing the foundation.

Jaw pain isn’t always just about the jaw. The alignment of the upper neck plays an important role in how the jaw opens, closes, and functions. When the atlas (C1 vertebra) is out of balance, it can create uneven tension that contributes to TMJ discomfort.

NUCCA focuses on gentle, precise correction of the upper cervical spine to support better alignment, improved muscle balance, and reduced strain on the jaw.
If you struggle with jaw tension, clicking, headaches, or facial discomfort, addressing the foundation may make a difference.
Try NUCCA and see how restoring balance at the top can help support the rest of the body. ✨

Your jaw and upper neck are closely connected. When the atlas (C1 vertebra) is misaligned, it can create tension and imbalance that affects the way your jaw moves and feels. NUCCA focuses on gentle, precise correction of the upper cervical spine to help restore proper alignment and function.

If you’re dealing with jaw tension, TMJ symptoms, headaches, or neck discomfort, it may be time to address the root cause.
Try NUCCA and experience the difference a balanced foundation can make. ✨

Many people are told a mouth guard is the solution for TMJ… but is it addressing the cause? 🤔
Mouth guards can be helpful for protecting teeth from grinding and clenching, but they typically don’t correct alignment. Because the jaw and upper neck work closely together, imbalance at the atlas (C1) may contribute to ongoing tension in the TMJ.
NUCCA focuses on gentle, precise alignment of the upper cervical spine, helping reduce stress on the jaw and support more balanced function.
If you’re still experiencing jaw discomfort, clicking, or tension even with a mouth guard, it may be time to look at the foundation.

Try NUCCA and address the structure supporting your jaw. ✨
