Meridian Medical Group (formerly Maryland Primary Care and Wellness) is a physician led multi-specialty medical group serving Maryland.

We offer Primary care, Behavioral health, Nephrology, Pulmonary, Sleep medicine and Diagnostics-all under one roof. This medical practice has been in the Upper Marlboro community for more than eighty years. It was started by Dr James Sasscer in the 1930s. After his retirement he was succeeded by Dr. Arthur Clark Holmes who practiced there for three decades. After his retirement, Dr Alain Champalo

ux took over the practice and served the community for twenty seven years until his recent retirement in September 2020. Upon his retirement Dr Albert Takem has taken over the practice and rebranded it as Maryland Primary Care and Wellness.
