One of our favorite activities found a brand-new home!

Our residents gathered in the new community room for an afternoon of BINGO, filling the space with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of excitement waiting for that winning number. 😊

It’s been so special watching our residents settle in and begin enjoying all the spaces in our new home.

🏡💚 There’s No Place Like Home!

Moving day was a special one at Vancrest of Upper Sandusky! We rolled out the red carpet as our residents arrived and officially began settling into our beautiful new facility.

As each resident came through the doors, they were welcomed with a flower and plenty of familiar, smiling faces ready to greet them. 🌹 It was a simple touch that made an already meaningful day feel even more special.

After months of planning and anticipation, it has been wonderful to see our residents making themselves at home, enjoying the new spaces, and getting back into their daily routines.

Looking back at these photos, we are incredibly grateful for everyone who helped make this transition possible. From our staff and sister facilities to families, volunteers, and local partners, so many people came together to make moving day a wonderful experience for our residents.

We’re settling in, making memories, and enjoying this exciting new chapter together.

Today, on National Senior Citizens Day, we honor the incredible people behind a lifetime of stories.

Stories of first jobs and first loves, families raised, careers built, challenges overcome, and traditions passed down through generations. Their lives are filled with lessons learned, memories treasured, and plenty of laughter still being shared.

We are grateful for the wisdom our residents share, the joy they bring, and the lasting impact they continue to make on their families and everyone around them.

💚 It Took a Team to Make This Move Possible

Yesterday marked an unforgettable new chapter for Vancrest of Upper Sandusky as our residents and staff officially moved into our beautiful new building.

A move of this size could not have happened without many helping hands, caring hearts, and people willing to work side by side. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this long-awaited day a success.

💚🏡 Tomorrow, a New Chapter Begins

For years, our current building has been more than walls and hallways. It has been a place where residents found comfort, staff built meaningful relationships, families gathered, and countless memories were made.

Its rooms hold years of laughter, celebrations, friendships, and everyday moments that became part of the story of Vancrest of Upper Sandusky. That history will always be special to us because a building is not defined by its address. It is defined by the people who fill it with life.

Tomorrow, we carry those memories with us as our residents and staff finally move into our beautiful new building!

This is the day so many people have been asking about, waiting for, and looking forward to. After months of anticipation, the moment is finally here.

This is an incredible milestone for our residents, staff, families, and the entire Upper Sandusky area. We are grateful for the helping hands from our Vancrest sister facilities, Wyandot County EMS, the Wyandot County Council on Aging, and all of the volunteers and community partners who will work alongside us to make this long-awaited move possible.

While we are grateful for everything our current building has given us, we are incredibly excited for what comes next: new spaces to enjoy, new experiences to share, and many more memories waiting to be made.

While the address may be changing, the people, compassionate care, and sense of home that define Vancrest of Upper Sandusky will remain the same.

☀️🎒 Summer Memories & Back to School Wisdom

As summer winds down and a new school year begins, it’s a time that brings back a lot of memories.

Our residents took some time to look back on the summers they remember most, from favorite vacations and time spent outdoors to the people and places that made those days special. They also reminisced about their own school years, sharing favorite subjects, proud moments, and memories that have stayed with them.

And with a lifetime of experiences behind them, they had a little advice to share with students heading back to school today. 💚

Each resident had a different story, a different memory, and different words of wisdom.

As students head back to the classroom, we hope they’ll carry a little of our residents’ wisdom with them and make plenty of great memories of their own along the way. 📚🍎💚
